Hello, beautiful Black And White community!
Today I want to share with you a series of photos that I captured while running errands around the city.
When we go out into the street, we encounter an endless number of situations and scenarios. I have always believed that very particular things happen in Venezuela, which perhaps are not seen in other countries. Precisely for that reason, I like to take my camera with me wherever I go and photograph everything. Perhaps you will find these everyday scenes interesting.
I will use these photos as an entry to the #monomad challenge.
I am referring to things like this, a couple on a motorcycle carrying a load so bulky that it is almost extreme. This scene, so common on Venezuelan streets, reflects the creativity and ingenuity of the people to face difficulties.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una serie de fotos que capturé mientras realizaba algunas diligencias por la ciudad.
Al salir a la calle, nos encontramos con un sinfín de situaciones y escenarios. Siempre he creído que en Venezuela ocurren cosas muy particulares, que quizás no se ven en otros países. Precisamente por eso, me gusta llevar mi cámara a donde quiera que voy y fotografiarlo todo. Quizás a ustedes les parezcan interesantes estas escenas cotidianas.
Usaré estas fotos como entrada al concurso #monomad challenge.
Me refiero a cosas como esta, una pareja en moto que transporta una carga tan voluminosa que ya no les cabe nada mas. Esta escena, tan común en las calles venezolanas, refleja la creatividad y el ingenio del pueblo para afrontar las dificultades.
Or this gentleman who walks around selling pens, lighters and various household items...
O este señor que va caminando vendiendo boligrafos, yesqueros y varias cosas para el hogar...
I don't know if you see these types of informal vendors in your countries, but here it is very common to see them every day.
Yo no sé si en sus paises se ven este tipo de vendedores informales pero aqui es muy comun verlos todos los dias.
I also like to photograph more common things from day to day because I hope that these photos, in the future, will be a window to the past. That people can see how people lived in this city in the year 2024.
Tambien me gusta fotografiar cosas mas comunes del dia a dia pues tengo la esperanza de que estas fotos, en un futuro, sean una ventana al pasado. Que las personas puedan ver cómo se vivía en el año 2024 en esta ciudad.

At one point I thought I was looking at photos of a town in eastern Cuba. Or for example, the one where you see the motorbike and the man standing in the street, it looks like a place from right here in Havana, in a municipality close to mine.
Everyday photos are always interesting and have a lot of stories behind them.
