Yesterday I went to the park to take pictures and in the skate park area I met a friend named Omar. Since I was in a good mood for photography, I asked him if he would like me to take some pictures of him while he was skating and he was very grateful and said yes.
I will use these photos as an entry for the #monomadchallenge contest.
I have known Omar for a couple of years, he is also a photography lover and we have even worked together on a couple of occasions. But I had never met him at the park while I had the camera with me, so since I had the camera with me on this day, I didn't hesitate to take a couple of pictures of him while he was skateboarding!
Ayer fui al parque a hacer fotografias y en la zona del skate park me encontré a un amigo llamado Omar, como estaba de buenos animos fotograficos le pregunte si le gustaria que le hiciera algunas fotos mientras el patinaba y el muy agradecido me dijo que si.
Usare estas fotos como entrada al concurso #monomadchallenge.
Conozco a Omar desde hace un par de años, el tambien es amante de la fotografia e incluso hemos trabajado juntos en un par de ocasiones. Pero nunca me lo habia encontrado en el parque mientras yo tuviera la camara conmigo, asi que como en este dia si tenia la camara, no dudé en hacerle un par de fotos mientras hacia skate!
Omar had to repeat the jump a couple of times to make sure the photos came out well.
Once we got these photos, we went on to the next move on a rail, because in my opinion this trick is quite "photogenic" from a photographic perspective and a bit advanced from a skateboarding perspective.
First I took a portrait of him.
Omar tuvo que repetir un par de veces el salto para asegurarnos que las fotos salieran bien.
Una vez logradas estas fotos fuimos al siguiente movimiento en un riel, pues a mi parecer este truco es bastante "fotogenico" visto desde una perspectiva fotografica y un poco avanzado visto desde una perspectiva de skate.
Primero le tomé un retrato.
In this photo he was showing me where the exact moment was when I should take the picture.
En esta foto el me estaba indicando en donde era el momento justo donde debía tomarle la foto.
And he did it!
Y lo hizo!
For me it is very rewarding to capture all kinds of photographs in different situations, I feel that it helps me to improve my photography skills and these photos are no exception, I feel that they turned out very good and we were both happy with the results.
Para mi es muy gratificante capturar todo tipo de fotografias en diversas situaciones, siento que eso me ayuda a mejorar mi habilidad en la fotografia y estas fotos no son la excepcion, siento que quedaron muy bonitas y ambos estuvimos contentos con los resultados.
