A few days ago, I went for a outing in the mountains of my city. I was actually on my way to eat one of the best soups in town, but on my way down, I saw that a small, very cute place that sells typical Venezuelan Andes desserts was open, so I decided to stop for a moment to buy some sweets. To my surprise, when I entered the store, it was full of all kinds of old collectibles. So, I asked the owner for permission to take some pictures and she said yes.
I will use these photos as an entry for the #monomad challenge.
This is the view of the store from outside. They sell all kinds of food here, but I stopped specifically for the typical sweets:
All the stores in this area had a beautiful rustic facade.
This is the name of the store I visited on this occasion, "Sweet tradition" :

Inside, I found all kinds of old and not-so-old telephones:
Surely some of you will recognize these. They were next to an old radio:
The palce had a very beautiful and vintage decoration:

A steam iron:
Una plancha que funciona a vapor:
The owner of the place explained that some things work, but most of them no longer do and are on display as a kind of "museum" of old things inside their store. To be honest, I was very surprised by this, in addition to the fact that it was a very beautiful decoration, it was interesting to see all these things.
Behind the store there was a farm, and although it was not allowed to pass, from where I was I could see a very beautiful decorative scene that immediately caught my attention and obviously I had to take a picture of it. This was one of my favorite photos of this day:
For me, it was a complete surprise to find these hidden gems in a little shop in the middle of the mountains.
I hope you found these photos as interesting as I did!
I have used almost everything you show there, except the old lamp :) Very good photographic proposal and... I liked this one in particular
Really?? that's interesting to know!! did you used the A steam iron ?
Well not me but my grandmother did 😄 I saw her use it :)
I remember those mobile phones as the most technological thing of the time and they were really heavy.
