Street photography of People at 50mm - Monomad Challenge.

in Black And White14 days ago

Greetings to all my friends in the Black And White community, I hope you have a wonderful day, my best wishes to all of you!

In this post I am going to share a series of street photographs that I took with a 50mm lens and my Canon RP camera. In this selection of photos, I wanted the protagonists to be the people and the stories they could tell...

I will use these photos as an entry to the #monomad challenge.

I want to start with this photo because I feel it shows the good vibes of the people in San Cristobal, which is known as "the city of cordiality" since most of the people who live here are very kind. These girls saw me taking pictures and what they did was wave and pose for me to take a photo of them!!

I witnessed this heartwarming scene unfold before my eyes... a motorcyclist's bike suddenly sputtered and died. Without a moment's hesitation, another rider pulled up alongside to offer assistance.

In this photo, I find it remarkable how this gentleman still has a smile on his face despite the weight of the cart he is carrying.

An elderly gentleman waiting for public transportation. I took this photo because the man caught my attention with his grandfatherly attire, complete with a pair of pencils in his shirt pocket. I also liked the layered depth of the scene.

A man carrying his bicycle, he must have been tired and preferred to cross the traffic light this way to make it faster.

It's not very common to see women riding motorcycles, but you see a few now and then...

The heroes who keep our city clean!

A truck full of coconuts and a man unloading them. In this place, they sell cold coconut water for $0.50 each.

I really liked this photo because the man next to the child was dressed in a suit, and it's not common to see people like that walking around the city.

Also, you can see a beautiful cityscape in the background.

What is the man thinking? 420?"

A woman relaxing with her cigarette outside her home..

I've saved one of my favorite photos for last. This man was wearing a very chaotic outfit, painted in many colors. He might have been a painter or something like that. But what I love about this photo is how his clothes almost blend into the background in black and white!"

I hope you found these photos as interesting as I did!

Thanks you for watching!

The nifty fifty never fails. :^)

I'm running around with an 85mm at the moment, loving how much depth it gives.

The nifty fifty never fails. :^)

that's my favorite lens so far because it allows me to capture the context (enviroment) and the people at the same time

Sometimes it is courage, the photographer often has to go very close and not every person likes it

Thats true, it takes courage to be a street photographer!

There is something extremely interesting about photos of people sitting, thoughtful, smoking a cigarette. Black and white makes it more special. Nice shots @malos10 as usual!

that lady with the cigarette looked so cool and chill!
