There are details in a wedding that go beyond the obvious. They're small, quiet moments where the sacred meets the intimate. This time, I focused my 50mm lens on the symbols used during the church ceremony—like the wedding rings, the arras, and the bouquet—and captured the hands of the couple as they exchanged vows, placed the rings, shared the arras, and even received the Holy Communion.
Hay detalles en una boda que dicen mucho sin necesidad de palabras. Son momentos pequeños, silenciosos, donde lo sagrado se cruza con lo íntimo. En esta ocasión, usé mi lente 50mm para enfocarme en los símbolos que se utilizan en la ceremonia de iglesia—como las arras, los anillos y el bouquet—y logré capturar las manos de los esposos mientras se entregaban las arras, se colocaban los anillos y hasta cuando recibieron la ostia.
The 50mm lens forces you to get close. It doesn’t allow for shortcuts—it’s just you, the light, and the moment. That closeness let me freeze fragments of deep connection and reverence, showing how powerful a single gesture can be when filled with meaning.
El lente 50mm te obliga a acercarte. No permite atajos—es solo tú, la luz y el momento. Esa cercanía me permitió congelar fragmentos de conexión profunda y recogimiento, mostrando cuán poderosa puede ser una sola acción cuando está cargada de significado.
