Greetings dear friends

A couple of days ago, while I was in the backyard and talking on the phone with a friend, I realized that the lizard, of which I had taken pictures before, was in the right place and with the perfect light. At that moment, I dropped the phone, ran, looked for the camera and took about two hundred pictures. I think I'm exaggerating a bit, but there were a lot of them. I gave myself a treat, I took my time and I liked the results. Now I'll share with you the ones I like the most.

Hace un par de días, mientras estaba en el patio de la casa y hablaba por teléfono con una amiga, me di cuenta de que el lagarto, del que otras veces le había hecho fotos, estaba en el lugar indicado y con la luz perfecta. En ese momento, solté el teléfono, corrí, busqué la cámara y le hice unas doscientas fotos. Creo que exagero un poco, pero fueron muchísimas. Me di un capricho, me tomé el tiempo necesario y me gustaron los resultados. Ahora les comparto las que más me gustan.

Con los animales soy bastante observador, y me he dado cuenta de que al principio no me dejaba acercar mucho, pero después ha ido poco a poco agarrando confianza.

Something that surprised me is that, as part of their diet, there are cherries. I imagined them eating insects, but never cherries, so every day I saw the fruits falling to the ground with little bites.

Algo que me sorprendió es que, como parte de su dieta, están las cerezas. Los imaginé comiendo insectos, pero nunca las cerezas, por eso todos los días veía las frutas que caían al suelo con pequeños mordiscos.

But that didn't stop there, a little further on, on a lemon plant, other lizards - of different species but equally curious - were also attentive. They watched me with intrigue... and of course, they also posed for photos! I wasn't going to let that opportunity pass me by.

Pero eso no quedó allí, un poco más allá, en una planta de limón, otros lagartos —de especies distintas pero igual de curiosos— también seguían atentos. Me observaban con intriga... y claro, ¡también posaron para las fotos! No iba a dejar pasar esa oportunidad.
