Greetings, Hive friends:

How was your weekend? Here, the heat continues to be unbearable, especially in the afternoons when it's over 30 degrees, so I took advantage of that to go out early with my camera and avoid the midday heat. Today I have several ideas in mind. On the one hand, I want to focus on those details that are part of the city, that identify it, but that almost no one pays attention to. And on the other hand, I want to invite you to join me on this street tour and show you what I saw along the way.

Ultimately, the most important thing is to share this passion that unites us and continue contributing to this community that inspires us so much and has contributed to my growth as a photographer. So without further ado, I leave you with today's photos. I hope you enjoy them!

¿Cómo les fue el fin de semana? Por acá el calor sigue siendo insoportable, sobre todo en las tardes con más de 30 grados, así que aproveché para salir bien temprano a la calle con la cámara y evitar la hora del mediodía. Hoy tengo varias ideas en mente. Por un lado, me interesa enfocarme en esos detalles que forman parte de la ciudad, que la identifican, pero a los que casi nadie les presta atención. Y por otro, quiero invitarlos a acompañarme en este recorrido callejero y mostrarles lo que fui viendo en el camino.
En definitiva, lo más importante es compartir esta pasión que nos une y seguir aportando a esta comunidad que tanto nos inspira y ha contribuido en mi crecimiento como fotógrafo. Así que sin más, los dejo con las fotos de hoy. ¡Espero que las disfruten!

I have always wondered if these huge cast iron vases in Paseo del Prado park have any other meaning besides decorative.

Siempre me he preguntado si estos jarrones inmensos de hierro fundido del parque Paseo del Prado tienen algún otro significado además del decorativo.

The statue is of Generalissimo Máximo Gómez, who survived the wars of independence and is one of the most representative figures in Cuban history.

La estatua es del Generalísimo Máximo Gómez, que sobrevivió a las guerras de independencia y es una de las figuras más representativas de la historia de Cuba.

If these photography outings have taught me anything, it is to train my eye and observe everything around me with respect and curiosity.
