Hello, friends. How's everything going?

This week I had one of the best experiences related to learning photography. I participated in incredible exercises that I will remember for the rest of my life. Photography has changed me for the better, and I am very grateful for that. One of the things I learned that has become a fundamental strategy for me is visual education. To do this, you have to look at a lot of photos, mainly by renowned photographers who are references for our work. It's amazing how, by doing this, our vision is shaped to the point where we go out on the street and see things differently. In the long run, this can catapult us toward those goals we've always wanted to achieve. Today, I'm sharing some photos I took this week as part of this exercise. After spending a lot of time studying the work of experienced colleagues, the street feels different to me. I invite you to try it out; it's worth it.

I was obsessed with noise and composition, and I was really missing the most important thing: that my images convey something and are part of a story. This takes time, of course, but we're working on it.

Hola, amigos. ¿Qué tal todo?

Esta semana viví una de las mejores experiencias relacionadas con el aprendizaje de la fotografía. Participé en ejercicios increíbles que recordaré el resto de mi vida. La fotografía me ha cambiado para bien y estoy muy agradecido por ello. Una de las cosas que aprendí y que he convertido en una estrategia fundamental es la educación visual. Para ello, hay que ver muchas fotos, principalmente de fotógrafos reconocidos que son referentes para nuestro trabajo. Es increíble cómo, haciendo esto, nuestra vista se va moldeando hasta el punto de salir a la calle y ver las cosas de manera diferente. A largo plazo, esto nos puede catapultar hacia esas metas que siempre hemos querido alcanzar. Hoy les comparto algunas fotografías que hice esta semana como parte de este ejercicio. Después de pasar mucho tiempo estudiando el trabajo de colegas experimentados, la calle me sabe diferente. Les invito a vivir la experiencia, vale la pena.

Yo estaba obsesionado con el ruido y la composición, y realmente me estaba perdiendo lo más importante: que mis imágenes transmitieran algo y formaran parte de una historia. Esto lleva tiempo, por supuesto, pero en ello vamos trabajando.

Muchas gracias a la comunidad #blackandwhite y al equipo de trabajo de @monochromes, que me brindan la posibilidad de compartir con todos ustedes en mi proceso de aprendizaje.
