Vlastně je úplně jedno, odkud jsou moje fotky. Mohla by to být italský venkov, mohlo by to být Chorvatsko, Albánie nebo Řecko. Všechna pobřežní města od Jadranu až po Egejské moře mají tak trochu podobnou atmosféru. Jistě, některé je rušnější, některé ospalejší. Někde se mluví takovým jazykem, jinde zas onakým. Někde je více toho západoevropského, jinde převažuje Balkán. Ale dojmy, atmosféra, zvuky a vůně, ty jsou tam všude podobné.
Opět jsem zvolil černobílé provedení. Vlastně jen z výtvarného důvodu. Mám takový subjektivní pocit, že ta atmosféra místa (chcete-li genius loci) víc vynikne.
In the context of planning a vacation, I wandered in my memories to the Mediterranean. The unconventional architecture, the narrow winding streets, the mysterious nooks and crannies of the night, the urban planning like an architect's nightmare.
It doesn't really matter where my photos come from. It could be Italy, Croatia, Albania or Greece. All coastal cities from the Adriatic to the Aegean have a similar feel. Sure, some are busier, some are sleepier. Some speak this language, others that. Some places are more Western European, others more Balkan. But the impressions, the atmosphere, the sounds and smells are similar everywhere.
Again I chose black and white. Actually only for artistic reasons. I have a subjective feeling that the atmosphere of the place (the genius loci, if you will) comes out more.
