Images That Invite Reflection #monomad
Hello, greetings to the entire hive community, and a special hug to you, dear reader. This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
Today I want to share with you these photographs, which I took one morning as I was heading to photograph a wedding that would take place at the Nuestra Señora del Pilar church located in the district of San Isidro in the city of Lima, Peru.
I arrived early that day, and as I approached the church, I noticed a situation that immediately caught my attention. Right on the cross at the dome of the church, there was a vulture standing, observing a large part of the city from that imposing point.
The sky that day was completely cloudy, the characteristic gray sky of the city of Lima, as I heard from some locals, they call it the "donkey's belly" sky. It provided a contrast that I liked with respect to the structure of the church.
I bring you this image and I would like to know what kind of thoughts or feelings it generates when you see it. I would like to know your interpretation of these photographs. The truth is that when I arrived at my workstation and downloaded the images onto my computer, I saw that these images invited me to reflect on life and death. But this time, I don't want to give you my thoughts. Instead, I would like to read yours. That's why I invite you to leave a comment about what these images convey to you.

what a great looking church first and foremost.
i haven't seen vultures in real life so i really do not know if that is a vulture.
but if it were i wonder how the vulture got there. for a vulture to even reach the city, then its natural habitat must have been disturbed if not destroyed.
(i choose not to give it a supernatural meaning just to be different, ahaha)
