This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.

Hello, greeting and good day everyone. I hope all of you are doing great today. This is another post about black and white portraiture series with Aldern. This shoot was done in the studio. The setup was very simple. I used a beauty dish as my light modifier and mounted it on my Godox AD400 strobe lighting.

A dark background was used for this shoot and I used the high speed sync setting on the lighting and my trigger so that I can open up my aperture to the max which is the f/2.8. Getting the right amount of balance lighting was a challenge for me because of his shirt was very bright and had a reflective material. I had to take some of my time adjusting the light so it will get to the amount that I wanted.

In the end, I am very pleased with the outcome. Below are some of the best shot that I managed to get.

As always, I wanted a very good expression in any of my portraiture. I asked Aldern, to make an expression that he never done before and somehow it really make him look different in a good way. He was just about one year in the modeling and entertainment industry and he already matured so much. He is progressing rapidly and I think he has a good potential in the industry.

I enjoyed taking male portrait nowadays because of the different look that I can get from them. I hope that I can get more opportunity to get a portrait session with them again.
