Returning to the photographs I took during a tour of the city of Puerto La Cruz, Anzoátegui state, Venezuela. Today I present other different photographs, but with the particularity that they were all taken in black and white, thus creating a different perspective as I had previously presented some color photographic postcards of this striking city.
Retomando las fotografías que hice durante un recorrido por la ciudad de Puerto La Cruz, estado Anzoátegui-Venezuela. Hoy les presento otras fotografías diferentes, pero con la particularidad de que todas fueron tomadas en blanco y negro, creando de esta forma una perspectiva distinta como había presentado anteriormente algunas postales fotográficas a color de esta llamativa ciudad.
These photographs are characterized by representing those icons of the city, as well as this city is understood by its landscape and certain structures, the environment that can be visualized by its openness to the sea, as well as the beaches in its proximity and those who are part of that environment as fishermen or just people who are passing through this place.
Estas fotografías se caracterizan por representar esos iconos de la ciudad, así como se comprende esta ciudad por su paisaje y ciertas estructuras, el entorno que se puede visualizar por su apertura al mar, así como las playas a su cercanía y a quienes forman parte de ese entorno como los pescadores o simplemente personas que van de paso por este lugar.
This version is a way of seeing this city under the visual technology of the achromatic, where you can appreciate this world without color, and with certain essential contrast in the images, as well as a better composition of the texture and its tonalities.
Esta versión, es una manera de ver esta ciudad bajo la tecnología visual del acromático, donde se puede apreciar este mundo sin color, y con cierto contraste esencial en las imágenes, así como también una mejor composición de la textura y sus tonalidades.
