I have always published many pictures of my cat Kira, but I had not yet done so of my dog Brandy, who is part of my big family. She is a pinscher mongrel, but in the end that is not what matters, she is now 6 years old, and she is already a lady, so to speak. She is very calm and very attached to my wife, who even gets sad when my wife goes out for a long time, and when she arrives at the flat, Brandy feels her from a long distance.
For this occasion, taking advantage of the afternoon light, I wanted to take some black and white pictures, as Brandy was sunbathing, something she does every day, she loves the sun and the warmth, and we usually have to tuck her in because of the cold of the air conditioners.
Desde siempre he publicado muchas fotografías de mi gata Kira, pero aun no lo había hecho de mi perrita Brandy, que es parte de mi gran familia. Ella es una pinscher mestiza, pero al final eso no es lo que importa, actualmente ya tiene 6 años, y ya es toda una señora por decirlo. De por si es muy tranquila, y esta muy apegada a mi esposa, que incluso suele ponerse triste cuando mi esposa sale por un buen rato, y cuando va llegando al apartamento, Brandy la siente desde una distancia larga.
Para esta ocasión, aprovechando la luz de la tarde, quise sacarle unas fotografías en blanco y negro, ya que Brandy se encontraba tomando un poco de sol, algo que suele hacerlo todos los días, le encanta mucho el sol y el calor, que pornlo general tenemos que arroparla mucho por el frío de los aires acondicionados.
For most of the photographs, I wanted to set the shutter of the camera in such a way that I could obtain a background almost entirely in black, and with a focus mainly that is Brandy, as well as taking advantage of the natural light coming in on the one hand, to create in some portraits the Rembrandt technique.
The truth is that taking a section of photographs of my dog Brandy, is not so difficult, compared to my cat Kira, who is very restless, it is usually more difficult to make the desired captures, therefore Brandy is a perfect model to take photographs, it only remains for me to look for the best angles.
Para la mayoría de las fotografías, quise configurar el obturador de la cámara fotográfica, de tal manera que pudiera obtener un fondo casi totalmente en negro, y con un enfoque principalmente que es Brandy, así como también aprovechar la entrada de luz natural por una parte, para crear en algunos retratos la técnica Rembrandt.
La verdad, que hacerle una sección de fotografías a mi perrita Brandy, no es tan difícil, a comparación de mi gata Kira, que es muy inquietad, suele ser más difícil hacer las capturas deseadas, por lo tanto Brandy es una modelo perfecta para hacer fotografías, solo queda de mi parte buscar los mejores ángulos.
On the other hand, I also had a focus for this section of photographs, besides using natural light to my advantage, is the simple fact of making some detail shots of Brandy, such as her nose and eye, to better appreciate the contrast that monochrome generates in the photograph.
Together with the natural lighting, it makes this photographic section perfect for me, as well as the meritorious fact of being able to show you and talk a little about this beautiful dog Brandy, that my wife gave her name to her, because of an animated series, where there is a character called Brandy, and she is similar to my dog.
Por otra parte, también tenía un enfoque para esta sección de fotografías, además de utilizar la luz natural a mi favor, es el simple hecho de hacer algunos planos detalles de Brandy, como su nariz y ojo, para apreciar mejor ese contraste que nos genera el monocromático en la fotografía.
Conjuntamente con la iluminación natural, hace que esta sección fotográfica sea perfecta para mí, así como también el hecho meritorio de poder mostrarles y hablar un poco sobre esta hermosa perrita Brandy, que su nombre se lo puso mi esposa, por una serie animada, donde hay un personaje que se llama Brandy, y es parecida a mi perrita.
