The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy.
yesterday we saw one of the agenda of Satan; He came to steal. Today we are looking at another agenda, He came destroy.
Satan’s purpose is to ruin the lives of believers, wreck churches and bring dishonor to Christ. He has schemes (plural) to accomplish this. He will try to make Christians sin, then try to arrange matters so that they will live in despair of forgiveness. Or he may try to get the church to accept them even without their repentance. He will try to destroy peace and harmony in the church through one or more of its members. He will try to make church leaders either too easy with sin or too harsh with those who fall. Read 1 Chron 21:1; Matt 4:1; John 8:44.
Many relationships and marriages has been destroyed by Satan and his agents, and once he succeeded in destroying marriages and relationship, he has succeeded in wrecking havoc on the church, we have a good news in Christ Jesus, the church of Christ must on and not gates of Hades can prevail against it. On our streets, neighborhoods, campuses we see daily how Satan is destroying lives, through social vices , drugs, alcohol immorality , adultery and worshiping of mammon.
God can restore every damaged lives, relationships and marriage.
