A lot of the times we get so caught up in the people that have left our life and the people that we've had to let go of because we knew it was what's best for us or the people that left our life in ways that we never thought would happen.
But sometimes you also have to remember that where you cannot be,
God is still present in the places that you are absent.
I want to address those two things today.
The Bible talks about the woman at the well. And even though she had five different husbands, she still was not satisfied. It was she known the current husband she had. And even though she still was not satisfied, Jesus told her about the well of living water that could fill her and change her life.
I don't know what your well is, but over-shopping, over-eating, people, relationships, whatever it is that you try to use to fill the void that's on the inside of Jesus is that answer.
I challenge you to run to Jesus first before you run to people, places, or things.
Pray, worship, read your Bible, but communicate with God first before any external.
The Bible says there's a void that can only be filled in us by God. The only thing that can fill an everlasting void is an everlasting God.
In that same chapter, there was a man who had a son that needed to be healed.
He went up to Jesus and said, Jesus is just saying the word, and I believe that you can heal my son.
At the moment that he believed, Jesus healed his son. And it wasn't because the son's father was present. It was because his father believed in Jesus.
Jesus can go to every place that you cannot go. He can heal every heart that you cannot heal. He can save every soul that you cannot save. And whatever you cannot do within your limited capacity, pray about it, release it to God, and watch what he does for your life.
