I say, why do we require a reset?
Number one, to break free from sin and worldly destruction.
Everywhere you turn, this world wants to corrupt you. So many times you need to come to his presence for a refresh.
Acts 3:19,
it says, repent and return to the Lord's presence.
And times of refreshing will come.
TIME OF REFRESHING
So we need to reset so that the corruption of this age will not destroy us. Because when you become a lover of the world, you become an enemy of God.
James 4.4, it says, friendship with the world is enmity with God. And if you become an enemy of God, where will your help come from?
The Bible says, my help cometh from the Lord, the maker of the heavens and the earth. So I can't afford to be an enemy of God. But the world is pulling me.
Number two, why do we need a reset?
To focus on God's will. Because it's in focusing on God's will that our life is glorified.
