I'm starting this blog without a title for it...O.K., by the time you read it, there will be a title. But right now, I'm not sure what to call it.
It's a tough post to write, mostly because it's some self reflection and seeing faults in my character. But overall, it's tough to write because it's about humanity in general...And something I don't think we'll ever be able to cure.
I have a problem with politics.
Let me be crystal clear...I am not a left wing guy or a right wing guy. I'm a God guy. Rent unto Caesar what is his, and to God what is God's is what Jesus told us. Personally I think both wings are from the same rotten bird, but the point is....I am not 'loyal' to party.
That's a really tough thing to be these days, with these elections in America coming up. People will literally die for the party they believe in. And if you don't fall in line, you are considered the enemy.
Don't believe me? Just go and comment on a political post on social media lol I made that mistake a few days ago. And I called something out, that I believe is a big problem in today's social media.
If someone posts a meme, it's fact! No digging into a topic, no researching what is being claimed...People's political beliefs and in some cases, religious beliefs are being formed and swayed by these memes online.
Most of them, are simply propaganda. Topics that put one party above the other and lash out on anyone that doesn't believe the same way you do.
I called out a post because it was not true. And boy oh boy, I got smacked around by people I even thought were my friends.
Here's the thing though, let's go to the bible and see what God told us about these kind of situations:
Yeah, that's what is so great about the bible. If you want to see what the world was like, is like and will be like...Go to scripture.
I'm left scratching my head because....Do people even care about truth these days?
Or have we become so loyal to 'mankind' in the form of government, that we forget to look at what is being said and the agenda behind it?
Personally, I know I can't take anything said online personally, I do have to remember what Jesus said above. This is supposed to happen. People are going to get vicious at each other and even their own families....
What future do we have?
People may laugh at my faith. People may shrug their shoulders at it....But with my faith, I can see how all of this gets better. How humanity does 'get better' and stops all this madness towards each other....
One accord, there's the title of the blog post ;)

Politics is very polarized now. I agree that social media is a minefield as people get triggered by the simplest stuff. It's why I don't really go there much at all. We are living in a pretty crazy world.
A lot of people seem not to be interesting in politics and that’s because the way the government is treating its people is not encouraging at all
I do think that politics lately is stinking more than usual, no wonder ordinary people are getting involved in politics more than ever
I’m sorry day but politics is becoming trash these days
They are not doing what is expected of them and that why politics is not encouraging
The process of being a "God guy" wouldn't be smooth, as the Bible expected us to pass through persecution. Even people close to you sometimes becomes people you don't know anymore when your faith changes.
I understand your worries, people tend to believe the lie more the truth, base the scripture you quoted that's actually a prophesy of what is to happen in this our day which is actually occurring. giving caesar thing to caesar mean giving what is due to the world, paying tax , our bills and respecting the authorities.
It’s refreshing to see someone prioritizing faith and truth over political loyalty, which can feel rare in such polarized times. "One accord" is a fitting title, pointing to a hope for better understanding and unity through faith, even in turbulent times.
