Sunday night....
I wanted to write one last post before I get back to the grind of my offline job tomorrow. And I say that because, my one week vacation is over.
This was a first for me.
My first ever 'paid vacation' from a job I've actually held for almost half a year lol That may seem like a weird thing to celebrate, but because I worked for myself for over 25 years, this was new....
Getting a week off, while getting paid, was just an odd thing to experience. But let me tell you, I didn't really get any rest at all lol I was moving storage units all last week, and driving the kids around almost daily.
The big achievement though, was my 'first semester' in the University of Self Education - School of Theology :)
I actually did a really good job of keeping up with all the reading I had planned. Yesterday and today, I was able to dive into a lot of the books I had planned for this little project of mine...And if I keep the current schedule, I should be able to get through all 7 books in about 2-3 weeks.
That's really got me fired up, and let me really ponder how I will dive into books going forward.
Like most people, I used to just tackle one book until finished. But this schedule I created, plus being fired up for this project, made me realize that I can actually read multiple books at once.
That's some super bookworm powers I've got I guess lol But it's exciting to me to know that I can maximize what I'm learning now going forward.
Being back to work now, might lower the amount of time I dedicate to reading, but if I can get 30 minutes to an hour under my belt every night after work, I should be able to hit my target.
Anywho....A little useless Jongo information to start your week tonight :)
I'm still blown away that I got a full week off work, and got paid for it. What a weird feeling that was lol But hey, it's something I can sure get used to. The best part is, with my job I get 4 weeks a year 'off', so I have to plan the next 3 weeks of vacation from now until February.
Oh boy oh boy, that's a lot more books to read when the time comes :)
Thankfully, I have an entire bookstore to choose my next semester from...

Four weeks is great. At my last job i had to work five years to move from two weeks to three weeks of vacation. You have a good gig.
Yeah man, pretty crazy that they gave me this from the start!
Can you share with us how you get to read multiple books at once?
Yup, the last post I made...Goes over my schedule, and which book I'm reading every day of the week.
Paid vacation is nice. I hope you still have some time after going back to work to keep up on reading.
Big test is tonight. I need to put in about an hour to keep my schedule.
But if you read multiple books at once, how will you identify or understand them from each other?
I journal everything!
