My First week as a Axie scholar | Facing terminators | Noz

Its been a week since I got my Axie Infinity scholarship, here I will be sharing my experience with the game, My manager and overall how I feel about it. If you want to know how I got my scholarship click here to read about it.

As soon as I got my hands on the account I jumped right into arena and was in my first battle, I was in the flow, playing my cards and feeling good, it was a 2v1 in my favour and after two more rounds I caught my first 'L'.

Yep I was not counting energy just spamming cards and lost my first match. Indeed it wasn't as easy as the pros make it look. So I went into tryhard mode counting energy and focusing on my fundamentals and finally after a couple of matches I got my first 'W'.

It felt great to get my first victory, since then I Have been winning some losing some and bouncing around 1000-1100 mmr and have stacked 175 $SLP in the process. But I was having some problem with facing a particular build called the "Terminator". I asked FLUX (my manager) about it and he told me how to counter it with my build in particular. I had to sack my bird in the endgame and use my midliner's twin needles to time the stuns of the terminator and soon enough I was beating the terminators consistently too.

I think it is very important to have a good manager if you want to be good at the game, I have one of the best managers as he knows how to play the game and knows how stressful it can be sometimes playing axie. I can take a day off every week and have no pressure to maintain a rank or farm SLP, but to just show up and try to be better at the game everyday. I think this environment is perfect for me to gradually improve as a player.

Moving forward my goal is to learn how to pilot my team more efficiently play this game a ton and get good at it and do my best as this will be the last season of battles V2.
