Four Seasons - Spring!

in Photo-essay4 months ago

Our life is broken into pieces, moments, and... moments. To refer to those, they can start with seconds, minutes, hours, days, and so on, up to years. More or less. Preferably, as many as possible... but not always, and in all conditions.

Seasons are also a measure of our lives. Such expressions are also used: - "has turned twenty springs" or "it has reached the autumn of his existence"...

I live in a climate zone with four seasons and will refer to this year's division into four equal parts of time. The four seasons differ, of course, from each other in terms of weather and although they are divided very precisely, both calendrical and astronomically, they are never fixed and exact. That is, the transition from one year to the next always differs.

It is this transition that I like best!

In general, people have favorite seasons. You and I, I'm sure. I can now confess that my favorite season is summer, although lately, it has been increasingly difficult to bear because of the stifling heat.

Just as we can divide the year into seasons, according to the date on the calendar and the weather outside, we can separate our photos by seasons, both by the date they were taken and by the image they reveal...

I thought that each season deserves a little photo essay...

I'd start with spring, even though we are now at the beginning of winter and my favorite season is summer. Spring has something special that no other season has: birth and rebirth.

I mean the beginning!

Spring

In descending order, from big to small, spring in the World, in Europe, in Romania, in Bucharest, in my even smaller backyard!

Spring is birth and rebirth, i.e. awakening from hibernation. The little ladybird has felt the first warmer rays of the sun and rushed to see the world again, on a still-sleeping hydrangea stem.

Perennial flowers are a blessing! As a gardener, you don't have to do anything. You wait for the snow to melt, let it warm up a bit and that's it.

The small plants with multicolored flowers appear almost instantly and color and brighten up the garden in the awakening phase. These are woodland flowers that I planted years ago in my yard. They seem to like to be here as much as I like to see them. They are fragrant and fill the yard with their scent.

The queen of spring is the daffodil! Either we planted the bulbs the previous autumn or they have been there for many years, this flower is in a hurry to complete the spring garden. Lovely!

The first rose bloomed! He's like a knight, he's a flower aristocrat.

Greenery conquers all! After a winter in black and white, spring paints everything green. Everything that seemed weak has now taken on volume.

It doesn't take much to make you happy! Or you need a lot... and you'll never be happy.

I have my theory and belief about hell and heaven.
Mythologies and religions have put these antagonistic notions in different places. Most often in the sky.
I have a different belief. Who am I to have an opinion on this sometimes controversial and taboo issue?

I ask and I answer for myself...
I am also a man who is entitled to an opinion.
I believe that both heaven and hell are here on earth with us.

My heaven is here, in a corner of a garden, a few square meters of greenery and beauty!

Photography is an art! It doesn't take much for each of us to take our photography to art. Closer or further. We just need to not photograph haphazardly. To see something in the image that will freeze forever, that is, as long as his photograph remains.
I see photography very close to painting, music, and film, because what is film but a multitude of photographs?
That's why I think it doesn't bother anyone to insert both a painting and a song in these photo essays!

One of the most famous paintings of the Italian Renaissance.

Sandro Botticelli, La Primavera, c. 1482, tempera on wood

The Primavera, the title of which means “Spring”, is among the greatest works at the Uffizi Museum in Florence. The precise meaning of the painting is unknown, but it was probably created for the marriage of Lorenzo di Pierfrancesco (a cousin of the powerful Lorenzo the Magnificent Medici) in May, 1482.source

What could be more fitting for spring than... sunshine? George Harrison's gorgeous song!

Here Comes The Sun

Now I make a proposal and a suggestion, but especially a request. Can you write a photo essay about your favorite season?

Can you write a photo essay about your favorite season?

This can be a nice initiative @bluemoon :)

We will see what we can do and bring all the seasons :D

But until then, here comes my musical contribution to your Spring post :)

Thank you!
God, how did I not think of that? Before I opened your link I knew what it was... The most wonderful music about spring! I was stuck on my rock from my youth and my brain listened to my search. I had a hard time picking the right song and, gosh, how easy it would have been.
Thanks again for enlightening me!

I think you just didn't want to pick that easy option haha

There is also another Spring - Primavera that I like to play. 🎶

Thank you, I enjoyed listening! I like to listen to music when I write and now that I know about Ludovico Einaudi, thanks to you, I will have a choice of what to listen to.

I just published a post in these seconds hahaha, mentioning you and this post about spring 😁

You are welcome, I am glad you found out about that artist now 😇

Oh, thank you! I'm in a hurry to read.
Merry Christmas!

What a great pictures! read the post and admire the pictures listening to the good music, very good. My favourite is the first one, although I also love the flowers! Thank you!!!❤️
