Unexpected visitor

Hello, everyone! 😎

About a month ago, as the sun began to set during our seaside stay, I eagerly anticipated a tranquil evening. After a day of refreshing swims, the prospect of a cold beer, some music, and the cool sea breeze was all I needed.
Said and done.
I turned on an old mix on my JBL speaker from my phone, opened the fridge, poured myself a beer, and sat down.
Everything was perfect! I gazed at the slowly darkening sky, listened to the music, and let my mind wander.

Look at this: I'm distracted by Luka (younger son).
I turn around; without my glasses, I can't see anything. What should I look at? I put my glasses on.

Haha, what a creature!
Where did you find that electrical socket? I'm laughing.
They feed you well.
And where is your house?

My wife: Yo, snake, the horror, we should run away!
Luka (younger son): No, panic, it's a snail; what a snake, Mum.
My wife: But I'm sure it's poisonous. Please don't touch it. (She panics again.)

Maj (elder son) laughs: Let's eat it; long ones are the best.
Luka: Yuck, yuck.

Wife: Eat that disgusting thing yourself!
Hahaha, laughs, Maj.
And Athos (the dog) woke up and started barking. What's going on here?

Luka: Our electricity will go down, there will be no more internet
Me: Yes, of course, he'll cut all the cables, and you won't be able to charge your phone or play games.

Me: Okay, but will someone remove it?
And they all looked at me.
Oh, so I'm the hero.

I took a paper handkerchief, grabbed a snail, and carried it into the reeds.
Is it OK now? I asked them.
No answer.
And if it comes back?

What a drama over one curious snail.
So I filled my glass of cold beer again, looked up at the sky, and continued thinking about nothing.
But it did brighten up our evening a bit :)
