In school, I learned how to write. I learned to read and that gave me more words to even write. My first copybook was the first book I used which trained my hands to be perfect at writing. That’s where my educational carer began. Education is an investment that we should all have a hand in, hive has done a great one. First of its kind in Ghana, the first of its kind in Africa, and the first of its kind in blockchain history. Follow me as we narrate the history.

In the heart of the northern part of Ghana is where Kpachaa is looked. A deprived community in which their people have a keen interest in their kids having a better future. Touring around as a hive and people who love nature, a teacher of a school called Kpachaa D/A school meet us and we have a conversation. The conversation was short but had information that made us sad. The teacher said, “Students of the school had no books to write in. Uniforms to wear to school, and pencils to write with are even a problem. We wish we could be helped.” That was it and then hive came in.

@valueplan, @guiltyparties, @theycallmedan made it happen and before we continue, we acknowledge them. This is a great way to sell hive. It’s called the Hive Goes to School project and we as a community ready to promote education through hive stand in for it.

Monitoring was done. The paints that would be needed to paint, the nails to make the doors okay, and how we could convert their blackboards into marker boards. It was about how dedicated we would be to make this project count. The kids need to study, grow and care about what helped them to become better in the future. As we went in to talk to the chief about our intentions, we made it known to him, “Hive is not an NGO or a political campaign agency, we care about people and we are ready to make an impact in the lives of these kids. We want them to grow, learn and one day remember there was a day Hive did something good for me. Let me connect with them to see how I can also make an impact with it. When they grow with hive, we know we have done our part letting them know about the future already before they grow.”

Work started. The doors needed to be fixed. They got fixed. Pinter came in and did a wonderful job by making sure that the original beauty of the school was seen. Pupils’ measurements were taken and the processing of school uniforms started. We had 8o students from primary 1 to 6 which was made up of four classrooms. The uniforms and schools were made in equal numbers to make sure that each student receive a uniform and a bag. Aside from these, arrangements were made for, crayons, pencils, mathematical sets, books, and a first aid kit to assist them in terms of injury.

Today is a happy day for both the people of hive and the people of Kpachaa. They have had a blessing of help that will help impact their kid’s education. The kids now have uniforms, books, and other materials to make their studies better. The kind expressed his gratitude to hive for bringing this today. The people of the land thanked hive for not sending this project anywhere but bringing it to them. They were glad and they say Thank you to Hive.

A message from the kids to hive, “You have made us better. You have eased our affairs. You have given us legs and we will work on a path that will one day promote you. You have cleaned our tears and we will only share tears when it's tears of joy for how great hive will go. You have given us hope for there is hope in what you have given us today. You have given us light, for we can see hive as the guiding light in our educational life. We say thank you Hive. We say Thank you hive and we are much grateful. When our mouths are wet with your name; the whole world will have to ask to know you. And we will do our part to let the world know that Hive is the way and we will follow it when we grow up. Thank you.”

This is a hive story we all have to share. The world must hear. The people of Ghana must say and the people of Africa must hear too. Education is a great pillar in our lives. This hive goes to school project has started and it will continue to make education a better one. When the kids learn, we will have to learn about hive. Through this, we raise an army indirectly that will take over when their generation comes. That’s the vision and we all have to follow and support the vision as @valueplan, @guiltyparties, @theycallmedan and others are supporting it.

It wasn’t an easy one. We want to thank everyone who made time today to open the school. To see how hive have made a great impact in the educational lives of Ghanaian students. A big thank you to the community leaders, @shamsudeen13, @abdulbasit20, and myself for the supervision and handling of the project. It wasn’t an easy one but for the future of everyone and hive, we did it. the world will hear of hive and we have to be a part of the history when the future is remembering Hive. Hive is the future and we have to follow the train as it journeys to the future. This is our way of contributing and we are glad to be the managers and supervisors of these projects in northern Ghana.
