Good day, lovely people of the blockchain. There is a new hope for the blockchain that we are to talk about first. It’s a project funded by the @valueplan which seeks to create not only awareness in promotion but also build a community in our physical world to gain what the hive blockchain gives both decentralization and hope to communities.
Let me introduce you to the Hive Empower Project. This is a project that will be a bridge between the role of students and the hive blockchain in all parts of the world. This project will educate students, and give them what they need as the power to embark on power-changing life stories in hive. This project will dual more on building the knowledge of students to be able to make a meaningful impact when they join the blockchain. This is what it's about. Now let’s talk about the first-ever project how successful it was and its potential to be a life changer.
On June 8, 202 at the University for Development Studies, @hivestudentshub visited the students there to have the Hive Empower project. We were there to educate them about what hive was, what it has done, and how meaningful they could make their lives when they joined the decentralized platform.
We had three speakers from our own addressing key areas of the hive blockchain. These areas were selected and these speakers were chosen because they have demonstrated that they have the mouth to tell them what they need to know before joining hive.
@depressedfuckup was our first speaker who spoke on the topic of Hive and its frontends. This was to introduce them to what web3 was, blockchain, and the almighty hive. They learned much about it as they first thought it was the bee hive but we made them understand that it's not the bee hive but our unity is the bee hive. That was what the first speaker made our audience understand.
@yahuzah, our second speaker spoke about how they can create accounts, and join communities and how they will manage their accounts to be active on the blockchain.
Here, the community managers and other hives available came into the audience to help with the account creation. Students were motivated to see their colleagues take them through opportunities they had never thought of. They were eager to see their colleagues taking them through the blockchain. We recorded a greater number of signups.
@abu78, the blockchain gamer spoke about the games we have on the blockchain and how to earn while playing. He spoke about Splinderland, dCrop, and other games. It was educative as many said this was their field as blogging might be something that will take time for them to adapt to.
We couldn’t just allow everyone to ask questions after each speaker. Thought we received a few questions after each session. We brought in the educative part of the chain where it was a panel discussion. It was more than educative. We had the Hivers at one side and the audience had to choose who to sit with and ask them about hive and other related questions. This was the session most of them enjoyed as their worries were clarified. This was a hive-mentor student session from the Hive Students Hub community. Such a great one which helped a lot gain valuable knowledge from speakers to be able to ask productive questions during this session.
This was the event that brought many students together to witness the new era of social media. Web3 is taking the stands and hive is going to be known through many things the Hive Empower Project is here to stay to do more for the ecosystem in awareness creation and bringing productive people to the hive blockchain.
Citations were given to people who played an important role in the preparation and organization of this groundbreaking event. It was a stepping stone for greater audiences to reach. It was done well with the support of all these great people. Thanks to them for helping to make this history in Nyankpala UDS. They deserve it.
A special thanks goes to @guiltyparties, @valueplan, the community leaders of @hivestudentshub (@abdul01, @abdulbasit20, and @shamsudeen13). We thank our speakers too for a great impact on the start of the project, (@depressedfuckup, @yahuzah, @abu78, and @nhaji) and to all hivers who came in to support the event. We are grateful you were part of the history. The numbers recorded were groundbreakers and we owe that to everyone here.
And to our MCs (@nkpelawuni and @abdul-rauf) We are grateful for your support.

Promoting education through Hive
The efforts that went into the planning, and organizing of the event were worth it. Students learned much on this day and we are grateful to hive for seeing the light in this project.
Great work.
This project really empowers the students body
This is indeed a great one and a life changing event.
Kudos to the organizers and all who contributed in one way or the other luv.
It is really encouraging to see the numbers that were prepared to learn about hive. It shows there is a change coming to web 3. I wasn't able to make it this time round, hopefully I can make it next time.
A very insightful program which has a great impact on the lives of the students. It was a great experience to be part of this event.
That was a great project and I am glad to be among the speakers at this event, I am looking forward to continue working with you. Hoping to see our next event soon.

The turn out for the event was really great. I didn’t expect that. The students being ready to learn about new opportunities like hive is a testament to how far we’ve come. Hopefully, the new accounts that were created will become active members of hive
This event really put hive on the map when it comes to GHANA, Tamale to be precise
I am glad to have been a part of it
