Meet My Considered Best Friend For Already 5 Years + Gift Reveal.png

A few months ago, I was planning to open my Binance account when I found out that I lost my small zip lock. I used to find it voraciously as it's the only memory that my best friend I have, and I also put a sim inside with a top-up of ₱349. Fortunately, a few months after that loss, my parents bought a double deck and tasked me to remove my former bed. As you thought, I found it underneath and was happy because I almost lost it. But before I reveal that gift, let me describe her.

Meet Salvina

In my eighteen years of existence, most of the friends that I formed started with just asking for an assignment. I guess most of us, though. It was also my current classmate's foreplay to get close to me, and it's a good approach since having a friend will save you from college. She is the only classmate I knew I could communicate with since she's studious and we share the same brain cell. Like her, I also have a good vision in academics. Because of our same interests and no malice in our friendship, I started to share many stories with her. You know this feeling where you don't know yet how to vent your thoughts, and I feel like I need someone I can call in terms of academics.

And among all those friends I formed during elementary and high school, she's currently my longest friend. We've already helped each other through ups and downs, and I knew it would still get that way, although we haven't seen each other for over three years. Since the pandemic, we haven't gotten a chance to see ourselves in person. Our communication virtually started to decrease since we were already getting older. But overall, I still consider as one of my most valuable friends.

Why she's considered one of my unforgettable friends?

If I describe her in just one word, that would be industrious. That's the word you will say once you become her classmate. She's the type of friend who is very strict in meeting deadlines and always makes an effort in every school activity. Good thing I get influenced by her behavior since I don't know if I will still be a better student without being close to her. And aside from that, she's also very humble and creative. She might not be as good as other artists, but she's too persistent to learn about it. I remember accidentally seeing her practice drawing an eye portrait, which was great, similar to the photo above.

Is your relationship as a friend toxic?

From that five years, I've uncovered our other toxic downsides. I'm pretty sure it's unavoidable once you get to know each other, right? While I can say that I've used to tease her over, she has this trait of sharing something inappropriate behind my back. I still remember when I used to disturb her privacy, and we made a conversation fight. It was a regretful experience since I almost broke our friendship due to my inappropriate behavior. As you see in the photo, she cried in resentment while I still tended to act like a kid. And about two years ago, I used to catch her saying something wrong about me to another friend, but I just passed out. I guess that's my karma, though. Since the pandemic, our communication became less frequent, but it didn't hinder us from keeping our friendship alive.

What is her gift?

Maybe you're already interested in the gift I referred to in the introduction, though! These remembrances might be cheap as $1, but the effort and dedication she spent on New Year's present is something you can't pay using money. I like her simple handwritten message, and sorry for not sharing the overall letter since I want to hide some of the details for my eyes only. And from the keychain, I was too stunned when I saw my skinny era and also appreciated the dedicated quote. But you know what, although we've been seeing each other for over two years, we haven't saved photos together.
