Our Youth Alive Activity this Month - Prayer and Fasting, and Night Prayer 😇🙏🔥

I am glad to be here again in this community wanted to share such a great event I have had this past few days and I would like to thank God for never leaving me nor forsaking in every day of my life.

This friday was our one-day Prayer and Fasting and at the same time Night Prayer.

The event was a program initiated by the Youth Department of our Section from our District where I was the Circuit Leader.

I have handled all the young from here in our Circuit are more or less 15 Churches and a total of more or less a hundred young people, a bit difficult but God is always with me to guide me and help me.

We have different activities every month and for this month is Prayer and Fasting, Night Prayer and Fasting but for this post, I'll be sharing the prayer and fasting and night prayer.

Our prayer and fasting happened last Friday in one of the churches where we scheduled to have our Activities and that is at Paniangan Manticao Misamis Oriental.

It was happened at exactly 9:00 in the morning when a few young people already present in the Church. While waiting for some young people to come, we started it by opening prayer and praise and worship and thanking God for slowly some young people already have here in the Church though it was just a few for some are schooling, still thankful to God for they have come to join us.

One of our purposes while we are here is to pray with fasting for we do believe that there is power in prayer and fasting. After the praise and worship, it was then followed by the sharing of God's Word.

I was one of the speakers and there were four speakers in total afterward God was followed by prayer items from International, National, Local, and Personal prayer requests.

It was truly a great and blessed moment for us to pray with fasting for the Lord and at the same time prepare for our upcoming Evangelism the next day.

Our prayer just ended at around 3:30 in the afternoon and though some of us most especially those first timer felt hungry, still survived and ended up full of joy and thanksgiving to God. We also thank the host church for they have prepared a soup for our breaking.

We just rested after and went to our houses and some of the youth who are from a far just stayed in the Church and the host church also prepared for their foods.

Now, at around 7:00 in the evening our Night Prayer also going to happened and this is also intended for the event tomorrow and for those who didn't joined the event in the morning they can attend the evening.

Our speaker is one of our Youth Leader, our Assistant Youth Chairwoman. We were very blessed for what she have shared to us as it reminds us to be faithful and always put on our trust to God alone.

Our night prayer was last only for two hours from 7:00 in the evening until 10:00 in the evening so we can never do some noise knowing that the Church was surround by houses.

It was indeed a successful event for us from morning event until evening and all this happened for our upcoming event the next morning and we know that all our labor in the Lord is not in vain. We then went home for us to rest and slept well for tomorrow's event and all this for God's glory alone.
