Great for outdoor adventurers too. You might get caught in the rain or work in the field. The greatest benefit related to being waterproof is that if your journal does get wet, the pages won't get warped.
The disadvantages are that the tear-resistance of the paper makes it stretchy. So if you try to rip a sheet, it stays stretched.
Stone paper is stretchy paper? Again, not something I would attribute to stone. Thanks for the heads up. I am curious about the stone, hemp, and bamboo paper experiences.
