¡Hola, amigos hivers! Como falta muy poco para que finalice el año 2023 e inicie el 2024, me he animado a grabar un video vlog para despedirme de este año como se debe. En este video, quiero hacer un breve resumen de lo que fue este año para mí, hablar un poco de las cosas que hice, de las personas nuevas que conocí y las nuevas amistades que forjé gracias a Hive. También quiero indagar un poco sobre las metas que tengo trazadas para el año que está por iniciar.

     Hello, hivers friends! As the year 2023 is almost over and 2024 begins, I've decided to record a video vlog to say goodbye to this year as it should be. In this video, I want to make a brief summary of what this year was for me, talk a little about the things I did, the new people I met and the new friendships I made thanks to Hive. I would also like to talk a little bit about the goals I have set for the year that is about to begin.

Este año, desde enero hasta julio, estuve muy poco activo en Hive debido a que me sentía desanimado personalmente desde el 2022. Aunque hice publicaciones durante esos meses, no lo hice con el ánimo que se me caracteriza. Fingía tener ánimos y el contenido que hacia no me gustaba. Lo bueno es que en mayo empecé a sentirme mejor y dejé atrás esos malos pensamientos que rondaban en mi cabeza. Volví a estar más activo y a hacer mis videos con muchas ganas.

Después de retomar mis ganas por hacer contenido, volví a participar en programas de curación en Discord. Me encanta participar en estas curaciones porque puedes compartir tus publicaciones, recibir buenos consejos y conocer nuevas personas. Participando en estas curaciones en este año, conocí gente muy agradable y llegué a forjar una buena amistad con dos personas en especial. Ellos son Génesis (@getheenspring) y Leonardo (@buiitre).

     This year, from January through July, I was very inactive on Hive due to feeling personally discouraged since 2022. Although I did post during those months, I didn't do it with the spirit I am known for. I pretended to be in the mood and the content I was making was not to my liking. The good thing is that in May I started to feel better and I left behind those bad thoughts that were going around in my head. I became more active again and started to make my videos with a lot of enthusiasm.

After resuming my desire to make content, I returned to participate in healing programs on Discord. I love participating in these curations because you can share your posts, get good advice and meet new people. Participating in these curations this year, I met very nice people and got to forge a good friendship with two people in particular. They are Genesis (@getheenspring) and Leonardo (@buiitre).

A ambos los conocí en un evento en @votovzla. Con el tiempo, nos fuimos conociendo más a través de cada programa al que asistíamos. Con Génesis, después de coincidir en varios programas, empezamos a chatear y a conocernos aún más. Forjamos una gran amistad que tenemos ahora. Son impresionante las coincidencias que he tenido con ella. Una es que somos del mismo pueblo, Villa de Cura, y nunca nos habíamos visto. La segunda es que ambos compartimos el mismo gusto por la carrera universitaria de Comunicación Social. Cuando la conocí, ella estaba por inscribirse en la universidad para estudiar esa carrera. Yo, desde el año pasado, tenía ganas de inscribirme también, pero tenía mis dudas si estudiar o no. Fue ella quien me terminó de convencer para inscribirme en la universidad. Me ayudó preguntando información a la Universidad sobre las cosas que debía llevar para inscribirme.

     I met both of them at an event at @votovzla. Over time, we got to know each other more through each program we attended. With Genesis, after coinciding in several programs, we started chatting and getting to know each other even more. We forged a great friendship that we have now. The coincidences I have had with her are impressive. One is that we are from the same town, Villa de Cura, and we had never met before. The second is that we both share the same taste for the university career of Social Communication. When I met her, she was about to enroll in the university to study that career. I, since last year, wanted to enroll too, but I had my doubts whether to study or not. She was the one who convinced me to enroll in the university. She helped me by asking the university for information about the things I needed to bring to enroll.

Una de las cosas que más me encantó de este año fue poder asistir a dos eventos relacionados con Hive. Primero fui a Music and Web3, organizado por @daniel2001 y @stefy.music en Maracay. Para ese evento, fui acompañado por Genesis. Como somos de Villa de Cura, nos pusimos de acuerdo para ir juntos y ahí fue cuando la conocí en persona. Ahí por fin pude conocer al amigo Daniel y a su esposa Daleska después de tantos años de conocerlos. En este evento, conocí a Leonardo (@buiitre). A partir de este evento, empezamos a conversar más y a forjar una buena amistad. También conocí en persona a varios hivers cuyas publicaciones he estado siguiendo desde hace años. Pude conocer al amigo Koquito (@kococuatro), un chamo que me cae demasiado chévere. Fue la primera persona que entrevisté, ya que en la universidad ya me han mandó a hacer entrevistas y él fue el primero.

     One of the things I loved the most this year was being able to attend two events related to Hive. First I went to Music and Web3, organized by @daniel2001 and @stefy.music in Maracay. For that event, I was accompanied by Genesis. As we are from Villa de Cura, we agreed to go together and that's when I met her in person. There I finally got to meet my friend Daniel and his wife Daleska after so many years of knowing them. At this event, I met Leonardo (@buiitre). From this event, we started to talk more and forge a good friendship. I also met in person several hivers whose publications I have been following for years. I was able to meet my friend Koquito (@kococuatro), a guy I like very much. He was the first person I interviewed, since in college I've been sent to do interviews and he was the first one..

En octubre, después de iniciar la universidad, tuve la oportunidad de asistir a la Caracas Blockchain Week, un evento impresionante en el que la pasé genial. Pude conocer en persona a muchos hivers con los que había estado interactuando en Hive y en actividades en Discord durante años. Fue un día genial que siempre tendré en mi memoria y que espero volver a repetir este año 2024. Quiero volver a asistir a este evento.

     In October, after starting college, I had the opportunity to attend Caracas Blockchain Week, an awesome event where I had a great time. I was able to meet in person many hivers with whom I had been interacting with on Hive and Discord activities for years. It was a great day that I will always have in my memory and hope to repeat again this year 2024. I want to attend this event again.
