SATURDAY SAVERS CLUB - Revising My HP Delegation

Welcome to my #saturdaysavers post, it is a club activity where all of us here sharing our saving goals and saving updates. we are in the early phase right now for 2025, so I encourage you call to try take a look at @eddie-earner and try to take participation in #Saturdaysavers club.

Today I will share my activity in revising my Delegation. I think it is about time I change some of the HP delegation recipient here.

Revising My HP Delegation

Why do I delegate some HP here? well, the answer can be vary, but I will share one of my main reason. It is to get liquid rewards. If I use Hive Power (HP) and curate people, I could get more however they came in form of HP. I have 0 intention to do any power down or unstaking those HP even for partial.

So What I do mostly is to delegate some of my Hive Power (HP) to others and they will compensate me with some tokens or liquid Hive. This way I can get some liquid or "cash" without having to power down, even I get layer two tokens, I can sell them too.

So we can check below, it is my initial HP delegation table:

These are my top 7 HP delegation receiver. The first one is EDS-Vote, I delegate there because they will compensate my delegation with $EDSI. EDSI is an income token and It pays really well around 20-30%. I do collect those tokens because sometime people can wait for it and choose to buy EDSI at 50% more than it's actual value, so once a a while I can get big HIVE selling those EDSI to them.

Indiaunited is a unique community which demand people to engage between each other. They help many small users so I delegate there because I want to help them. of course I won't be a hypocrite here, the commercial takes a big part too. They compensate anyone based on tiers, and for 2.000 HP they will send you 12% APR in IUC which is pegged at 0,98 swap.hive or around 0.538 Hive per day.

So for every 100 HP delegation at 2000 HP delegation to Indiaunited, they will compensate around 0,0269 hive

The last two are delegations to @cryptocompany accounts. Commercially they are bad, but I want to help them survive the last ugly bear season. So I have non commercial agenda there.

So the question will be the two on the middle, ECENCY and CENTTOKEN. I won't tag them here, both are a great one. I have been supporting Ecency for a long time, and I see they have got their DHF support, so my support to them is no longer need. It will be purely busienss or commercial.

Cent token is a new service, and I doubt this will last long. I do not know what @anadolu has in mind, but that guy have many interesting research and trials on tribe tokens delegation.

Ok let's be objective here, this is what ECENCY has been giving me.

more or less I can say for 500 HP I delegate to Ecency, I have got a round 0,11 Hive in daily based. or this is equal to 0,022 Hive per 100 HP delegation.

And this is now how Cent Token has given me:

Centtoken through HE-lease is giving me 0,154 hive everyday for 500 HP delegation, or around 0,03 Hive per 100 HP. I can say currently they pay the highest APR. The only drawback they have is that they are giving those compensation in SWAP.HIVE.

For me I really don't bother about it. I need those liquid to buy some token and to give me some fund in playing Splinterlands , Rising Star Game and other Hive based games too. I haven't checked on #ArcadeColony games, I see some people posting about Moon Cart and I have no resource to get a fresh fund for it.

So to get more fund, I will add some more delegation to Cent Token. Let's hope that will give me more fund to play those games, or maybe buying new second layer tokens.

PRIMARY TARGET : HBD SAVING

My primary goal is to grow my $HBD Saving, to reach 5.000 $HBD Saving in this year, 2025. That is an ambitious target regarding I started 2025 with 0 $HBD. Mathematically this means I need to get $95 HBD every week.

So let's start with current table update, the Week #2 in 2025

This week I get 5 more $HBD savings, so I reach 5 because I started from 0 last week. I still have 4.995 $HBD saving to go, quite insane number isn't it? I have said this in the last #SaturdaySavers post that until Q2 2025 I won't be able to make any good amount of HBD savings regarding some real world issue.

I still have some HBD left, I could make higher saving but I need those HBD later to bail out some medication expense. It still a long journey of 52 weeks and we are still on the starting point, let's hope next week I could make another tiny 5 $HBD saving.

SECONDARY TARGET : HIVE POWER (HP)

Hive Power (HP) is very important for all Hivers who plan to stay long on this blockchain. For 2025, my secondary goal is to have 13.500 Hive Power (HP). It's not a big target and I want to make as many people realize that it is important to grow your Hive Power.

here is my recap for 2025 saving update:

I have grown 45 Hive Power for the last 7 days. Not a good number, I should hit for 100 Hive Power to grow well on HIVE, but I am realistic here. I do not write everyday due to my work load. So I do not get good author rewards.

Anyway I have made a small adjustment for the target, initially I wrote 12.500 HP but after several consideration, I have revised it onto 13.500 HP. This is a decent target, which I know I will mostlikely fail to hit that number too. But that's what a goal should be, right? Achievable but not easy.

The issue is the same as my primary target, HBD savings. You can check my screen shot below:

I have some liquid HIVE and I could stake them into Hive Power and have better HP growth. However I do not do that because I need some liquid HIVE to be sold. Things would be this ugly until Q2 2025, and I have prepared for worse condition.

Let's hope I could endure those pressures and it could be better soon. Anyway I have a question for you all, is it better I keep my table like this, or I only show the detail on the related Quartal, like this:
