SATURDAY SAVERS CLUB - Still Keep Up With HPUD Habit

Hello, Good Day Everyone

Welcome to my #saturdaysavers post, it is a club activity where all of us here sharing our saving goals and saving updates. We are entering the March 2025, the last month of Q1 2025. This is supposed to be hardest month for me, in term of financial pressure.

So let see what I have been doing recently. I am not well active in the last 7 days regarding the work load I have. Luckily I have learnt love to do my work, so despite getting sick and fatigue, I still get some ways to enjoy my life, enjoy my work, joke around, laugh well and many more.

I still keep up with the HPUD. I made 10 Hive Power Up although I had been busy on those days and could not get any time to write some posts including HPUD post. I get the HPUD badge but it is not the badge that is important.

By participating in HPUD, we are engaging with other Hivians or Hivers and make them remember the need and the importance of having good Hive Power, and the good they can get from improving their influence on Hive.

So sometime it is not how big we invest in Hive, if you really like being here, just make the place better by giving any positive contribution too.

The other things that I could say happened in this week was that I took out all my $HBD saving. This is a contradiction with what I have beet set in #saturdaysavers goal, which is to get 5.000 $HBD saving in this year. This one is a bit funny, I just took 114 $HBD out from the saving, and I already got into the top list

I do not like taking out my saving here, and if I could I prefer not to do this move. However everything has their own degree of importance, and for me the current situation is not conductive and I need to have as many liquid as I can.

Of course there are some limitation, which one of them is that I still keep my Hive Power (HP) because it is my lifeline in this blockchain. The other things is that I keep some of my second layer tokens because I know if I sell them now, I might not be able to buy them at the same price.

So I have set my priority first and having the resource to fund my friends medication take the highest priority right now. I already mentioned this thing in some of my early 2025 #Saturdaysaver posts.

PRIMARY TARGET : HBD SAVING

My primary goal is to grow my $HBD Saving, to reach 5.000 $HBD Saving in this year, 2025. That is an ambitious target regarding I started 2025 with 0 $HBD. Mathematically this means I need to get $95 HBD every week.

ho ho ho, 0 $HBD saving. This is a massive moving backward, isn't it?

I know some might think that way, however this is the real reason why I put $HBD saving as the main or primary saving target. I might end up having have to withdraw this saving for any urgency, and I just did that this week.

But I still have that 127 $HBD in liquid form. I can stake them right? put them into $HBD saving again? Yes I can, but mostlikely won't happen that way. I need them and will withdraw them any time, although I really do not want to do that.

In January 2025 #saturdaysavers post I already mention this several times that I need massive fund to help some people, although in the middle of the process, my dear father passed away and I had to stop helping them.

It's a custom in Javanese culture (the java people, one of tribes in Indonesia) to not bugging or asking favor from people who are in mourn or having difficulty. For that reason my friends hold themselves back not asking for my help for a few weeks (usually 40 days).

Now that 40 days is over, and somehow I recall that need so I contact them and try to help them again. The needs is not that big anymore, that's why I do not withdraw my $HBD right away. I really hope my fiat is enough to fund them, but let see next week then.

SECONDARY TARGET : HIVE POWER (HP)

Hive Power (HP) is very important for all Hivers who plan to stay long on this blockchain. For 2025, my secondary goal is to have 13.500 Hive Power (HP). It's not a big target and I want to make as many people realize that it is important to grow your Hive Power.

I have reached 10.703 HP on this week, so I have around 2.797 HP left to achieve if I want to reach my 2025 secondary goal here. My recap for 2025 secondary saving target update is here:

Nothing special I have in this week. The growth was in range, between 50 to 70 HP per week. I should aim 100 HP a week if I want to take this target seriously, however I think the current growth is not bad either.

Some ask why I am not pumping Hive as hard as last year or two years ago. Well, I have joined another project in another blockchain, so what I do here on Hive can be said as habit and hobby. Just continue writing, add more hive power, and encourage other people to write better here.
