Hello everyone friends of Splinterlands !!!

Among the many innovative abilities introduced over the years in the world of Splinterlands, there is certainly Taunt: this new ability has introduced monsters like Mycelic Slipspawn, Agor Longtail, The Kraken, and Iidri Fyre, which are among the most famous of the 14 monsters with Taunt, and act as true "lightning rods", as I like to call them, meaning they take all the opponent's hits, protecting the Health points of the rest of the team.

However, abilities and rulesets have been introduced to counter Taunt, and that's what we'll see in this week's Battle Mage Secrets Challenge!!!

Ferocity.png

Ferocity: All monsters on the field gain the Fury ability, which allows them to deal double damage with attacks to Taunt cards, so it's not advisable to deploy this type of monster, especially since they are very expensive in terms of mana; it's better to choose a different strategy to try to achieve victory.

Here is the link to the battle I want to show you:

And these are the game rules:

ruleset.jpg

A very reduced Mana Cap of only 22, but with only one ruleset, Ferocity indeed, so there is great freedom in choosing monsters, leaving us the possibility to tend towards a balanced team, with monsters more or less of the same mana cost, or being able to deploy a Heavyweight accompanied by very economical little helpers.

And here is the battlefield:

My choice fell on the Water element, with the summoner Possibilus the Wise, and a modest Hardy Stonefish in the Tank position, followed by a well-coordinated trio, with Noa the Just, Kulu Mastermind, and Creeping Ooze: in fact, thanks to Kulu's Weapons Training ability, Noa and Ooze gain 3 melee attack points each. To complete my team, there are Torrent Fiend and Furious Chicken.

On the other hand, my opponent opted for a typical Earth group team, with Obsidian as the summoner, Fungus Fiend in the first position, and followed by Failed Summoner, Regal Peryton, Wood Nymph, Khmer Princess, and Djinn Biljka.

Great game, very enjoyable!!!

I don't often get to use the Weapons Training ability, but in this challenge, the trio led by the mighty Kulu Mastermind, combined with the Reach and Trample abilities granted by Possibilus the Wise, destroyed the cards of the opponent's team, which could do little to resist, despite all the magical attack points they possessed.

https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sl_a6e24768a7fa83eed378cc2ce5216b98

E queste sono le regole del gioco:

ruleset.jpg

Ottima partita , molto divertente !!!

Nicely done. I liked how you used the weapons training not only with Noa but also the Creeping Ooze, that was a very cool strategy. Trample is an awesome ability as well and really destroyed your opponent. I'm going to have to start using both of those abilities more than have been, very well done. Great post!

Thanks!!!

With the explanation of the way this game went, I can tell that you had a great gameplay. That’s really cool and I hope you keep it up!
