There is a racoon meme going around the internet, and a lot of people have been reposting it, using AI to create their own version to fit their content narrative. I have not seen so much AI usage on the internet in a very long time.
I mean, I see it for content creation, asking questions, generating responses, and so on, but I have never seen AI used so extensively as with the raccoon meme. I believe this is just another side of AI: the intrigue and fanfare that comes with it.
People make up all kinds of prompts and bring insane things to life just for the sake of laughs and entertainment. The creative part is how people search for statements and narratives to make the meme even funnier, then paste them on their pages, especially now that monetization is involved.
Money makes it tick all the boxes
In addition, I believe it is becoming increasingly popular as a result of monetization. You know how Facebook and Twitter do not care if your content is generated by AI or not; as long as you can generate "views and impressions," you can earn.
Newer AI concepts make monetization much easier; creators can simply take advantage of their following and farm views and impressions, then cash out at the end of the month.
Satisfying happiness will always be a moneymaking concept
AI concepts can be amusing, and people use them in creative ways to entertain others while making money for themselves. Almost everyone is aware that 50% of Facebook content is now created by AIs, but because the money is generated through attention and marketing, no one truly cares about the content.
People simply want to see what they want to see, even if it is fake.
Give me
This is why the AI meta may only get better. The tech is constantly evolving to suit to demands and trends. It's not like previous techs that are redundant. AIs are constantly learning about human trends, adapting to them, and delivering on demand.
Some AI projects use MACHINE LEARNING and can be trained to mimic human attitudinal tendencies. It's usage are applicable in so many creative ways and this is why it's general forgivable to look at the downside.
Trends can escalate quickly.
The raccoon meme is one of the most popular AI trends of the last few days.
Will it die? probably.
At one time it was GHIBILI. we thought that one was here to stay, but people got tired of it very easily and moved on. So we will have AI trends. Over the last few days, we have seen how AI can generate meme prompts in addition to profile pictures and research work, among other things.
It can adapt to any narrative, which is why the meta is here to stay. It appears that AI for content purposes is unavoidable, but this trend will remain popular in Web2. It would not be as dominant in web3, unless we had web3 products that built and incorporated AI technology.
Although, I wonder at some point if it's going to creep in, into Hive, perhaps, but I hope not. I think AI contents can be great, and will continue to be better and evolve to look even more Human, and we'd even have AI apps that is built to counter the AIish looks or nature to appear human.
Overall, we are excited about what AIs can do, but perhaps in 100 years, when AIs reach their full potential, people will begin to seek the simplicity of human originality. For the time being, we are all very excited and thrilled.

That's the objective of most web2 platforms, making wave, regardless of where the content comes from, they just want to make money, content creation is becoming more popular now, and the use of AI has made it more simple and popular
Yes, I agree that the idea is to keep collecting money from data and big advertising agencies and not care about AI contents, afterall, there's no reward pool and the money comes from somewhere else..
i have never seen that meme of the racoon!
man that thing of the ghibli studio was so annoying, you would see around only photos redrawn with ghibli style...
that's true, facebook and instagram dont care, just check how it's full of "digital models"
The raccoon meme is trending on Facebook and Twitter, if you type in the racoon prompt, you'll get to see the meme. The Ghibli style and the photos were truly annoying, and that's because everyone wanted to use and test it it..
AI's are great, but I agree that it can get annoying to see everyone pile in on the same thing. AI is here to stay, and it will be a part of our lives. That won't change at all. We have to adapt, but I don't think just using AI is enough. You have to figure out how to use it effectively.
Exactly, I believe AI is here to stay too and I can't believe I'm saying that. It's just becoming more usable and more adaptable to human wants and needs, so I think it'll get better and people will continue to train it to be better .
You're very much right bro, the rate of technology improvement has now extremely great, Ai do things that even human being can't do within seconds, think fast, write fast and very creative in handing things. I can't precisely predict what will happen in few years time, but I'll say things will surely get more better.
In a few years? It'll definitely get better. I think a lot of sophisticated models are coming up everyday and more people might just continue to use it.
Yeah!
I haven't really paid attention to all these Ai things because I feel they want to take over humans opportunities to make a living tho I might be wrong, sometime ago someone told me that in a restaurant with AI a robot was the waiter and waitress, all physical workers will relieved from their duty and that got me so upset, people need to survive.
If you use Facebook and Twitter a lot you'll see a lot of AI inputs and contributions and how people monetize them.
I go to those apps once a while maybe that's why I don't really know much, so they make money from AI ?
Web2 apps allow people to use AI for content
