Today I saw someone who was a very big user on steemit (the old chain), I saw them on Twitter trying to create contents on KAITO, and they were basically deep into the KAITO ecosystem already, they commented on my partner's post,and probably didn't know I was the one handling the account. So let me give you a little back story on this guy.
Back in 2017, they were one of the biggest users on steemit because they got this massive delegation from blocktrades that helped them become very influential on steemit, but it turned out that they lost this delegation and then they could not attract much attention anymore..
The 2019 bear market hit, and then they could not really continue on the chain, then they started posting too much and then they got downvoted and then they powered down and completely left.
When I saw them comment on my partner's account today, I assumed it was because she has a large KAITO account, but I responded to him and checked his KAITO content.
Obviously, if I texted them from my own account, they might not respond because they are hustling and need to interact with bigger people.
So I just replied and continued on my way. Kaito is a casino where people compete to make money by interacting with others who can help them gain mindshare.
My partner is currently pressuring me to help her make money, which I am attempting to do; however, this goal requires me to prioritize her fellow big account over everything else.
No love, just hustle
There is no togetherness or love in web3 anymore; it is wild out there, big accounts are using smaller accounts to earn Twitter impressions, and smaller accounts are angry because they are always left behind. I have never seen a cesspool of hypocrisy and betrayal like KAITO; it makes me realize that Hive is one of the most authentic places you can ever call home.
Kaito is full of greed and betrayal, and a lot of people are competing; people with the highest impressions are working harder to earn more Twitter impressions so they can climb even higher on KAITO's PRE and POST-TGE campaigns, so everyone is fighting, and competition, it feels like a marathon, and honestly, it is not a place I want to be, but my partner wants us to compete as well and see if we can make some money.
It is so competitive that I do not want to do it, and it is also extremely exhausting. The person I mentioned was already involved in a large number of ecosystems, and I swear they are currently experiencing burnout.
I recently tried KAITO, and I developed a swollen eye, an inflamed growth in my eyes, and was unable to sleep much. People get sick as a result of competing, and while KAITO can provide life-changing income, there is a greater chance of failure than success.
The grass is not always greener
Many people believe it is bad on Hive, but they clearly do not know or have interacted with many web3 protocols.
I saw someone on Hive recently join a KAITO project, they said it was the future of web3 and that Hive could not compare, they kept posting about this project and all that, saying it was building the future of money and all that, sure, they got some great airdops, but there was no real utility to this project, and this person has now returned to Hive.
It is unbelievable how many people underestimate Hive; 90% of web3 protocols are nothing more than VC money, cash grabs, and greedy DEVS. Again, web3 is full of crazy things, including KAITO, and seeing this EX-Hive person today struggling to make money on KAITO really struck a chord with me: people are exploring the length and breadth of web3 in search of better opportunities.

I remember those days too, how time flies, 90 percent of the old Nigerians have left the platform, finding greener pastures elsewhere. those days of ehiboss, ogowinner, and destinysaid.
Hahaha I remember these people lol they were like the OG, you forgot TOJUKAKA and Ejemai, those people got massive support and funding from steemit whales

Funny this, I never really talked to any of them, it's been 7 years already, wow.
I didnt have any contact with ejemai and toju but I was a part of ehiboss, destiny and ogoo community and I got their support back then... I should not forget ewuoso too, he did a challenge back then for 5 sbd for us to drink 2 beers within few minutes, I did the challenge and finish it within 3 mins but I almost died after lol, anyway i got 3 sbd😂
Omo wow, I did one of those challenges hosted by Turkish man, I think I got 60SBD and had to share it with some people back then. A lot of challenges were flying, and basically it was the bull market, so.
It looks like we're the only two remaining in that set

KAITO sounds like a gamble and without some big accounts you can't make much money. That and you are working non stop on there. It makes Hive look like Disneyland!
It's a lot of work, but influencers with massive reach actually has it easier for them, the remaining population has to work x10 to even reach anywhere
I think money is tough for everyone, and I haven't touched Kaito. It sounds like a rough job as everyone is just trying to get the numbers and earn more off others.
It's a new INFOFI web3 concept that people are aiming to make money with.
I don't know anything of Kaito and you definitely didn't make me want to learn about it, competition is fun when there's a game involved but when it's like this no thanks
It's complete fun way to actually make money in web3, but there's a lot of competition, cheating and rat racism.
This must be uncomfortable... to handle someone else's personal account and not being able to show your own personality. But that's what is expected in this case.
It's actually not comfortable, but the duty is to do the job and just let go of any discrepancies. It's a tough place, but we gotta do what we gotta do.
Hive is the GOAT! The only wahala na be say internet attention has moved on from "reading" to 'watching'. Videos are being consumed a lot more than text or images. We need a web3 TikTok fast!
Well, only 1% to 3% of accounts are monetized on tiktok.
Which again is a problem web3 can solve. Automatic monetization after signup, 100% global access to monetization program. Blockchain transparency, ownership, etc..
First time hearing of this kaitos stuff but am glad you dont want to join in with those greedy ones

Never heard of Kaito before now. Well, Hive is really the big thing can't be compared to others, that I know.
Hive survivability is its strongest suit.

Hmnn! This is an interesting story line and experience too! I belief that your old friend that left hive then would be regretting of leaving now, especially when he now compare Hive with Kaito.They will truly know that hive is a place to be ,a home ,where you can invest and have rest of mind.
I really do not know anything about this Kaito of a thing, but the fact that you have been there before and you saying that the failure in this platform is more than success. That alone is enough for me not to look into it again.
Also majority did not know hive can really give them everything they are looking for elsewhere,so that makes them to still be looking around for a better offer. And why some don't belief in the potential of Hive is that, hive is not a get rich quick scheme, it takes time and being consistent to build account,that alone makes some people to run.
But for people like me and you now, though i've not really tasted much on hive because it's not long that I started taking hive serious, even though I've registered going to 2years now. But for like 2 months ago that I fully come back in taking hive serious, I see changes in myself,my account,and my earnings. Even though I've not gotten to where I'm going, but I'm not where I used to be then.
Yeah, web3 feels less like a community and more like a survival game now. Everyone’s chasing clout and airdrops.
