Splinterlands: Our Last Guild Outing Was Very Good!

Splinterlands Guilds are underappreciated ways to increase your SPS earnings while also having fun, and after changing Guilds, I have had a fantastic experience thus far.

I am a very skilled player, and I have used very good cards and assets to defeat some of the best players in the business during my Guild gaming experience. However, I believe I would have been a better player if I had better cards.

However, I have also made silly mistakes, such as losing to level one summoner owners who are extremely silky and cunning in their predictions, but I am guessing every splinterlands player has been in this situation at some point.

Splinterlands is a game that I enjoy playing, and it rewards your passion.

Although the rewards are currently minimal, you will understand how it rewards your passion when the price of the rewards (SPS) rises, particularly during a bull market.

I decided to leave my previous Guild because I believe I could receive better rewards for my skill set. I devote a significant amount of time to honing my skills, learning strategies, and understanding even the most recent Rulesets and card abilities, and I believe that time spent must be rewarded in some way.

Active participation was a problem in my previous Guild, and you are aware that when people do not show up for a Fray, the Guild's returns suffer.

In my new Guild, I have made an effort to attend games and take the time to strategically play my game. Why? Every win or loss affects the Guild's take home, either positively or negatively.

This was my second Guild outing; I had five battles to play and won all of them. I believe I mostly play the silver fray because it is where I am most comfortable. I have summoners to play higher, but I think this is the better fray, and I believe @burlarj agrees. He is doing an incredible job in managing the Guild and the work he puts in is unmatchable.

This time, it was a perfect performance. Last week I think I finished 10th and we were 20 competiting players. I know that luck plays role in how you win or lose, but I didn't have any opponent that didn't play their games in the first and second outing, so it meant I had to win all my competitive games.

I finished third this time, despite the fact that I had won all of my games. We had two other players before me who played more games and did not lose any of them either. That is excellent work from the members of my guild. I believe the first through fourth place teams did not lose any games, implying that you can still win and have more players ahead of you.

It is not a competition; it is simply working hard so that you and your team can collectively earn more rewards.

We performed better this time than the previous outing. This time, we each received 51 SPS and 5k Merit; I will share the stats from the previous outing and the one just completed.

I understand that we will not always perform well, but we can try and that is all we can do.

In Conclusion

My deck is not as strong as I would like; sometimes I just want to plan ahead and prioritize skill over depth. People with depth can categorically throw any lineup at you and win because they have the quality to blow you away.

They do not have to overthink their strategy. They simply show up and use the extra abilities on their cards to deal damage. I have played against guys like this before, and I often have to think outside the box to win.

Over the years, I have met some wonderful people who have delegated their cards to me, and it is been an incredible learning experience for me. I think deciding to look for a better way to reward my skill set is a good idea, and perhaps I will be looking forward to someone who is not an active player that I can assist in playing if they could share some rewards with me.

Nice job on the guild battles! I've found them more challenging lately with all of the new rulesets. Some of them are tough and I have to create a whole different strategy to have a chance of winning!

Today I pulled my third copy of Tatiana Blayde and now have a level 2. My first legendary Gladius card I've ever been able to upgrade! I'm still waiting for one more Quora though to go to level 3. Maybe one of these days I'll get it!

How are you doing these days?
!hiqvote

They're ever challenging lol, but I just seem to enjoy the challenges even if it means getting beaten all the time haha.

Congratulations on that on that Tatiana. What other ability did it get at level 2?

That's a huge feat I've never had any legendary gladius card at level 2 since they're so rare to pull.

Dodge and some extra health!

Dodge makes it incredibly powerful since it tends to miss more attack from range monsters and melee. That's a huge win for you.

It's a great card too, the dodge is going to make a difference for sure!

You smashed it! nice performance man🙂... The way it is going, it would be easy to accumulate more crowns now so the guild arena can be upgraded to tier 4 and we would be able to compete with stronger opponents and with that comes more rewards... but I am still thinking If I should upgrade the arena first or upgrade the store so players can earn gold foil gladiators but the arena is quite closer to achieve as it only requires 675 crowns unlike the store that needs 1859 crowns

I agree that the way it's going it'll be easy to accumulate more crown. I think upgrading the arena first might be better. It's more or less like an egg and chicken situation. The store gives opportunities to earn GF which means better rewards too. All leads to better rewards, but I just feel that the arena might be better overall and also since we just need 675 more crowns. One achievement at a times

I agree with you, Arena First! Two to three more brawls will get us the crown needed to upgrade the arena.

Nice job. That was a clean win and I don't think I had one of those for a long time and that was probably when we were in 3 star brawls. 4 star brawls are just too tough and gold foil matches don't make it easier.

Thank you. For sure, I think the games as are hard, I was more lucky this time as well and hit the right cards and didn't miss with any of my strategy. You're right, gold foil matches can be very tough
