There is plenty of stupid things in english which helps us makes jokes with each other.

My wife just asked me in a very English way: Can I ask you to sort that out?

So I replied: Yes, you may ask me... go on... I am waiting. 🤣🤣🤣

I speak mostly English now but I was born and raised in Afrikaans.
