If you have checked my previous blog, I wrote about swatching the 24 colors of Himi Gouache paint. After showing you all the 24 colors on my sketchbook, I am very excited to create a color wheel.

A4 Watercolour Academy Series Sketchbook

This is my A4 sketchbook with 300 gsm. It's medium grain watercolor, pH neutral, acid and wood free paper, glued along all sides. This is where I could practice painting bigger than my A5 sketchbook.

I created 2 Color Wheels

I took a little plate and created two circles. In the first circle, I will use the colors red, blue, and yellow to mix for secondary colors and tertiary colors. Seems like there was a problem with my mixing but I was using 50% red and 50% yellow for orange and so on. Let's treat this as warm colors.

In the second circle, I don't need to mix colors as I was using the colors present. The colors are so cool and just on the right mix.
