The Shiphaus - Bohol Part 4

Hi there beautiful people. It's been a while since I posted my last short blog. I was quite busy with work and all the other stuff. I enjoyed my weekend doing freediving while keeping the balance on managing our family business. I haven't been able to compose a single post.
As I checked my profile, I saw this one saved on my drafts a month ago. So, I decided to finish this unposted blog from our Bohol escapade.

This is still a continued post from my Bohol series.

The Batuan ShipHaus, or simply ShipHaus is located in Poblacion Norte of the town of Batuan. It is a modern-day Noah’s Ark in the middle of a farming village. It’s a house designed like a vessel or a ship. This ship mansion was built by Captain Gaudencio Dumapias (who’s a real-life captain of his ship) for a whopping Php8 million and opened for public viewing in 2011. We were welcomed at their entrance with WELCOME ABOARD signage and accommodated by their staff and paid Php50 per person for the entrance fee. It goes with a free drink, either coffee or juice.

Uniforms and mariner hats (correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know what's the proper name of it) are displayed near the entrance also, which can be worn for photo purposes. Souvenirs and personalized items are also available. Prices start at P20.00. They are now offering rooms for guests. When we first visited the place, they don't have rooms yet. The modernization of the place was quite impressive.

I didn't take many photos for it was my second time visiting the place and didn't mind getting that free drink also as we were famished. Babi and I just took mandatory photos at the place. Then we proceeded to our next destination.
