El día de ayer tuve una noche familiar, donde salimos a comer hamburguesa. Mi hermana tenía ganas de salir algo distinto, al inicio debo confesar que no tenía el deseo de hacerlo, quería quedarme en casa, pero bueno, finalmente me convencieron. Tuvimos que esperar a que mi cuñado llegara a eso de las 8 de la noche y procedimos a irnos. El sitio donde fuimos se llama Garage Burgers, un sitio bastante acogedor que siempre visitamos, hemos ido en varias oportunidades. Pues el día de hoy decidí compartir la experiencia, lo que fue la salida en familia y comentarles un poco cuál fue la experiencia de todo.

Como era un jueves por la noche, pensé que llegaríamos y rápido nos atenderían, pero el sitio estaba full, así que tuvimos que esperar un rato para obtener una mesa y hacer el pedido. Unos 20 minutos después, conseguimos sentarnos y vimos el menú. Había varias opciones, por lo cual decidimos por un combo de 15 $, que traía 4 hamburguesas y seis perros calientes. Éramos mi hermana, su esposo y sus tres hijos, aunque para mi sobrina más pequeña pedimos una ración de papas y para mis sobrinas se comieron la mitad de una hamburguesa y un perro caliente, aunque no con todo los ingredientes. Normalmente, solemos comer sano, pero hay noches donde queremos algo distinto.

Estos momentos en familia sirven para alejarnos de la cotidianidad y olvidarnos de los problemas. Debo decir que últimamente no he estado de un buen ánimo por diversos problemas personales, pero nada como la familia para poder olvidarnos de todo lo malo que podamos estar pasando. Esta salida nos sirvió mientras esperábamos el pedido, en charlar, reírnos y tomarnos algunas fotos. No soy mucho de tomarme fotos, pero bueno, estos momentos también hay que guardarlos y que mejor con fotos.

Recibimos la orden de las cuatro hamburguesas y los seis perros calientes, además de un refresco de 1.5 litros. Las hamburguesas son realmente buenas, aunque siento que las mixtas son un poco mejor. Los perros calientes tenían buen sabor, pero lo que sí me disgustó un poco fue la presentación, no estaban como en otras ocasiones donde visitamos el sitio. El sabor es importante, pero la presentación también. Esto se los comento para contarles detalladamente cuál fue mi experiencia en la salida con mi familia. Aun así me quedo con el día diferentes, salir a distraernos y cenar algo distinto, que no fuese una comida de la casa.

Quede bastante conforme con todo y a pesar de algunos detalles, me quedó finalmente complacido el poder salir con mi hermana y mis sobrinos, aunque son un poco tremendos 😅😂, pero son niños al fin y yo también lo fui en mi momento. Antes de retirarnos, hice un nuevo perdido de dos perros calientes sencillos de un dólar y una hamburguesa mixta de tres dólares. Los perros eran para llevárselos y mis mascotas que tengo 😅 (dos perros y su madre) que también son parte de nuestra familia y siempre me gusta compartir con ellos lo que comemos y se pone realmente contentos de probar algo distinto que no sean sus croquetas u otras comidas que le damos en casa.

Finalmente, nos retiramos y decidimos irnos caminando, ya que el sitio queda relativamente cerca de nuestro hogar, charlamos en el camino, reírnos nuevamente y recordar experiencia. También como siempre manifestamos que queremos volver, siempre quedamos con ganas de regresar a Garage Burgers, aunque bueno, vamos de vez en cuando y no tan seguido. Una gran experiencia, un día distinto, un momento que es gratificante pasarla en familia que siempre es lo más importante de nuestras vidas, los seres que a pesar de contradicciones que podamos tener, siempre nos apoyan en los momentos buenos, pero más significativo en los malos donde más necesitamos de compañía.

Yesterday I had a family night, where we went out to eat hamburger. My sister wanted to go out for something different, at the beginning I must confess that I had no desire to do it, I wanted to stay at home, but well, they finally convinced me. We had to wait for my brother-in-law to arrive around 8 pm and we proceeded to leave. The place where we went is called Garage Burgers, a very cozy place that we always visit, we have been there several times. Well today I decided to share the experience, what was the family outing and tell you a little about the experience of it all.

Since it was a Thursday night, I thought we would arrive and they would serve us quickly, but the place was full, so we had to wait a while to get a table and place our order. About 20 minutes later, we got seated and looked at the menu. There were several options, so we decided on a $15 combo, which had 4 hamburgers and six hot dogs. We were my sister, her husband and their three children, although for my youngest niece we ordered a portion of potatoes and for my nieces they ate half of a hamburger and a hot dog, although not with all the toppings. Normally, we usually eat healthy, but there are nights when we want something different.

These moments with the family help us to get away from the daily routine and forget about our problems. I must say that lately I have not been in a good mood due to various personal problems, but there is nothing like family to help us forget about all the bad things we may be going through. This outing helped us while we were waiting for our order to chat, laugh and take some pictures. I'm not much of a picture taker, but well, these moments should also be saved and what better with pictures.

We received our order of four hamburgers and six hot dogs, plus a 1.5 liter soft drink. The burgers are really good, although I feel the mixed burgers are a little better. The hot dogs tasted good, but what I did dislike a bit was the presentation, they were not as good as other times we visited the place. Taste is important, but so is presentation. I am telling you this to tell you in detail what was my experience on the outing with my family. Even so, I'll keep the different day, going out to distract us and having something different for dinner, not a home-cooked meal.

I was quite satisfied with everything and despite some details, I was finally pleased to be able to go out with my sister and my nephews, although they are a bit tremendous 😅😂, but they are kids at last and so was I in my time. Before we retired, I made a new stray of two $1 single hot dogs and a $3 mixed burger. The dogs were to take them and my pets that I have 😅 (two dogs and their mother) who are also part of our family and I always like to share with them what we eat and they get really happy to try something different than their kibble or other meals we give them at home.

Finally, we left and decided to walk, since the place is relatively close to our home, we chatted on the way, laughed again and reminisced about the experience. Also, as we always say that we want to return, we always want to return to Garage Burgers, although, well, we go from time to time and not so often. A great experience, a different day, a moment that is rewarding to spend it with family, which is always the most important thing in our lives, the beings that despite the contradictions we may have, always support us in good times, but more significant in bad times where we need more company.
