This Thursday I had the joy of witnessing a beautiful show that took me on a journey from east to west, through the most precious of my land, its folklore.
It was a beautiful show, they are musicians of the highest level, a couple of them very dear to me. It has been going on for four years now, it is a show produced and directed by Amanda Querales, who is a Venezuelan folk singer based in Buenos Aires. She and her husband, Gastón, are in charge of putting together a show with the most beautiful Venezuelan musical and dance expression. Making a journey from the easternmost joropo, to the westernmost gaita de tambora. It was truly beautiful.
Here I leave you some of the record of the night, but I did not take many pictures because I really dedicated myself to appreciate everything that these geniuses prepared so worthily.
Este jueves tuve la dicha de presenciar un espectáculo lindísimo que me llevo a un viaje de oriente a occidente, por lo más preciado de mi tierra, su folclore.
Fue un show precioso son músicos de altísima gama, un par de ellos muy queridos para mi. Tiene cuatro años haciéndose ya, es un show producido y dirigido por Amanda Querales, quien es una cultora popular venezolana radicada en Buenos Aires. Ella con su esposo, Gastón, se encargan de dar forma a un show con lo más bello de la expresión musical y danzística de Venezuela. Haciendo un recorrido desde el joropo más oriental, hasta la gaita de tambora más occidental. Fue verdaderamente hermoso.
Acá les dejo algo del registro de la noche, pero no tomé muchas fotos porque en realidad me dediqué a apreciar todo lo que tan dignamente prepararon estos genios.
