Disclaimer: I am uploading these pictures on Liketu! And I know, they aren't picasso level pics. This was more of a spur of the moment for me and my iPhone this afternoon...I took my son to the book store and actually had quite a blast walking up and down the aisles...
So while I know, these aren't artistic or 'pro' photos...I hope they tell a story of how I was amazed at how much 'Hive' is out there in the world...
Let me explain my love of...Actually going to the bookstores! As I mentioned, this is an activity that my son and I have shared together for as long as I can remember. You see, we both love reading. So anytime him and I get together, we seem to find ourselves at the local bookstore.
There are two sections I tend to gravitate towards the most when I go to the bookstore. The business sections and the religious sections. And I had quite a surprise as I poked around with my coffee in hand...
First up, you'll see the back of Seth Godin's latest book. And I'm a fan of Seth's, so I picked it up and turned it around and saw this...
"The purpose of the beehive isn't to make honey. Honey is a by-product of a healthy hive..."
Oh wow, how much does that hit you as a member of the Hive community? This is something I truly believe in, and why I think token distribution is so important on Hive. A healthy blockchain will produce....Honey! The by-product of this healthy community is just that. Which is why I love seeing people spreading the token out as much as possible!
Curation is awesome and like I mentioned in #MyHiveGoals post last night, I'm at 9.81% APR with my curation....Imagine that lol Getting 10% APR on spreading the token out. Man, I love this blockchain!
The next photo you will notice was taken in the religious section of the bookstore and I had to do a double take when I saw it.
I'm not a mormon but my goodness, these people create just remarkable temples around America. So this book was on full display and it grabbed my attention for sure.
But then I looked at who created the book....
Does that name ring a bell?
If I'm not mistaken, this book is by @jarvie , the co-founder of @peakd
If it's not the same Jarvie, I will feel kind of foolish but I think it's him.
This is so awesome!!! Not only did I find some 'Hive content' during my first few minutes in the store, I then came across this. Pretty cool to see his book on display front and center in the store!
And then finally....
Maybe we are close to another bull run?
Anytime you see an 'NFTs for Dummies' book....You know things are about to get worse lol Or maybe even better!
Anyways, just a fun little post tonight, nothing too serious. Just thought it was cool to see 'Hive' out in the real world.

Haha. NFT for Dummies. That sounds like a scam. I mean people are already scamming with NFT images and now making book out of it is another one. I wonder if they wrote like 300 pages of the book and that wold be too much.
Probably got ChatGPT to write it for them anyway. XD
That is possible I have seen and unfortunately bought so many books that is obviously written by chatgpt. People need to be OPEN about it. Okay they should write disclaimer that, this book is written with the help of chat gpt or something like this, and then we should decide about it.
It's always a fun thing to see, anytime something new comes out and is popular....A 'Dummies' book is published.

They're amazing pictures tbh. I was looking at the title of the first book and I was like, the author of this book could have made an awesome hiver. I'm glad you're still getting to build your goals. My curation APR has been going up and down.

The statement about Honey being a product of a healthy Hive is spot on! It tells us where the focus should be at. NFTs for dummies is a good way to explain NFTs to simple folks. The bull might not be that far away if the author is a good storyteller :)
For sure, that's what matters...A healthy community with tokens distributed!

It is amazing all of the connection that Hive in the offline world. I just wish more of that world would discover Hive as well. I love bookstores and use to spend way too much time in them. I would spend hours at a time looking at various books, opening them and then before I realize it have read several chapters. Take care.
