A veces iba bien, otras mal...
If Alice came to Oz in red shoes, I think we can go to any world in Oz in any red garment.
After all, Oz is wherever we want, can, should and must be to fulfil the mission we came for.
And well, one mission in this life has to be to enjoy the Divine nature bestowed upon mankind by the mercy of the Creator Himself.
I just went to the beach, and I realised that the sea deals with each of us in different ways and according to our age.
As children we wanted to make sand castles, to smear ourselves with sand until we were practically buried, to dig holes to see if by chance we would reach China or if we would see some strange (evil) spectre at the bottom. We know, sandcastles fail sooner or later; we stayed under the sand for no more than five minutes and we never made it to China.
When we were older, perhaps not knowing how to swim, we stayed on the shore to wait for the waves to hit us and splash us. Sometimes it went well, sometimes badly... We scraped our knees believing that the wave was "gentle" and we ended up dragged, swallowing the water, beaten.
As an older swimmer, we tried to go a little deeper and with experience and the years we saw that the waves do not hit us, nor do they make us swallow water if we know how to "receive" them.
Maybe the last few times I have gone, just by sitting on the shore, seeing the line where I thought as a child the sky and the sea met and being one single blue, the sky and all the birds that can be seen; I am fine.
Up to this point, I seem to be talking about life as we learn to lead it as adults. But I'm still talking about the sea.
Or maybe I am.
Maybe if that's what life is like.
"We built castles of innocence on sands and ended up broken without castles and without a home.
When we thought that facing life we would take each battle head on (like a wave we thought we were stopping).... Exactly. Wounded we ended up.
And in time we saw that every problem comes with a different dimension and we can simply know how to face it or you choose, you simply choose when to be inside the wave or when to be outside with your feet in the sand.
But...
What would be the point of going to the sea and not being inside for a while?
What would be the point of life without its problems and outings?
