The ruins of the monastery of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, built in the 12th century. Almost nine hundred years of history. Little red and blue flowers bloom every year in early summer. Has it been nine hundred years?
Blue is my favorite color. I think all people have a favorite color, whether they realize it or not. I also think most people still have blue as their favorite color. The ocean, the sea, and the sky! Blue is an extended color, as is green, too.
But it's not for colors that we're gathered here in Liketu. We are passionate about photography, taking pictures, seeing pictures, and sharing pictures!
Today I propose some photos with blue, a small blue. Far from the size of the sea, although the photos are taken at the seashore. The Black Sea, in Bulgaria, at Sozopol. A wildflower, unknown to me, caught my eye near the ruins of the fortress of Sozopol. A fortress many hundreds of years old, now partially rebuilt.
Liketu is for photographers and their photographs.
Because they say that "a picture is worth a thousand words" I won't write anymore, I think the few thousand words in the photos are enough!
