"The air was aromatic with a thousand fragrant lavenders" - Kharkiv, Ukraine

Hello everyone, happy Monday. I hope you all are doing good and enjoying the summer weather. Time is running so quickly and we passed the middle of the year already. Things are still pretty rough for me but my life condition is better than before. My job is helping me both mentally and financially to overcome my situation after all living in the Netherlands is not so easy because it's an expensive country. Life in Ukraine was way cheaper than in Holland. I miss that comfortable and stable life but nothing can be done. The East part of Ukraine is still under shelling and continuous attack by the enemy. I guess I have to wait a longer time than I have thought for moving to Ukraine again. Probably it might take years, who knows right? Nobody knows when the war in Ukraine is going to end.

2021 during July time I was fortunate enough to manage a trip to Lavender field. Not every country has such a big lavender field as Ukraine. I was lucky enough to experience an attractive lavender field because in Kharkiv we had 2-3 Lavender Farms where farmers cultivate thousands of lavenders every year. And I got the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful lavender fields in Kharkiv. Experiencing thousands of lavender and walking among them was the best moment of my life. The Lavender field is so fragrant, that from far away anybody can say where the lavender field is located.

I have written my experience here if you wanna read the whole travel journey. It was my first professional photo shoot and I know I have done the worst job because I had no idea about professional photography and how to do modeling in the lavender field. I had to pay for the entire trip and for the photoshoot as well. Also, I had to make a reservation before visiting the field. People are really keen and curious about lavenders, many people in the world do not even experience the beauty of lavenders in person. Lavender field trips are expensive and hard to get a reservation as well because women are crazy for lavenders.

Probably it was the first and last time for me to experience the beautiful, fragrant lavender field. In Holland only 2 lavender fields are available and I don't know whether they are open to the public or not. France is famous for lavenders so if I stay in Europe, maybe I will go to France to see the lavenders... I don't know yet...
