A historic city in Venezuela - Ciudad Bolivar

Ciudad Bolivar is a historic and ancient place in Venezuela. When I go to this city I like to take a tour of its Historic Quadrilateral, I always learn about the history of my country in its stone streets and its colonial buildings still very well preserved. This city is so important that it is named after the liberator of Venezuela, Simon Bolivar.

To get to this city from where I live you have to cross the bridge of the largest river in Venezuela, the Orinoco River, it is always an adventure to see how majestic nature is.

If you still get to visit Ciudad Bolivar, you can even find people who are tour guides in the colonial houses, in this city was held the Congress of Angostura, in the context of the wars of independence of Venezuela and Colombia. I went during holidays so the streets were empty and clear, ideal to take some pictures.

Ciudad Bolívar es un lugar histórico y antiguo de Venezuela. Cuando voy a esta ciudad me gusta hacer un recorrido por su Cuadrilatero Histórico, siempre aprendo de la historia de mi país en sus calles de piedras y en sus construcciones coloniales aun muy bien conservadas. Esta ciudad es tan importante que lleva su nombre debido al libertador de Venezuela, Simón Bolívar.

Para llegar a esta ciudad desde donde vivo hay que pasar el puente del río más grande de Venezuela, el río Orinoco, siempre es una aventura ver que tan majestuosa es la naturaleza.

Si aún día llegas a visitar Ciudad Bolívar recorre su Cuadrilatero Histórico, incluso puedes encontrar personas que sean guías turísticos en las casas coloniales, en esta ciudad se realizó el Congreso de Angostura, en el contexto de las guerras de independencia de Venezuela y Colombia. Yo fui durante días festivos así que las calles estaban solas y despejadas, ideales para captar algunas fotografías.
