El pasado jueves tuve unos de los mejores conciertos/fiesta en la que he estado. Todo esto fue gracias un músico canadiense llamado Robert Alphons, cuyo proyecto se llama TR/ST.

Es una combinación entre el synthpop, darkwave y algo de techno. Como es de notar se ve esa oscuridad en sus letras y melodías, pero lo hace muy bailable. Una de las cosas que más me gustan de su estilo es el uso tan bien elaborado de los sintetizadores, usa muchas capas en ellos y dan mucha armonía. Su producción es demasiado buena lo cual hace que se disfrute mucho.

Verlo en vivo era algo que tenía que hacer al menos una vez en la vida. Sabía que verlo iba a ser una fiesta total y lo mejor de todo es que pude verlo en mi ciudad, siempre pensé que tendría que verlo en usa o Europa. Pero la ola underground es muy buena en Bogotá, y fue junto con México los países latinos que visitó.

Esa noche desde las 9pm hasta las 2:30 pm baile con su música, los djs y los demás actos que se presentaron, de hecho la fiesta iba hasta las 4am pero ya era demasiado tiempo allí y había que hacer cosas en la mañana.

El setlist que usó fue buenísimo, de principio a fin estuve cantando sus canciones y para terminar, cantó mi canción favorita, Sulk. Es la que hoy estoy compartiendo, siento que me da felicidad y despierta un sentido hedonista en mi, el cual me da ese placer por medio de la música y el baile en esa ocasión.

Al momento de que sonó las primeras notas ,sabía que era esa canción y claro no iba a faltar en su repertorio. La versión en la que me basé es en una que encontré, que el mismo artista canta y toca en el piano. Es mucho más lenta que la original por su adaptación a este instrumento. Mi favorita siempre será la original, pero esta versión es muy buena.

Greetings to the community! It's always nice to share some music here.

Last Thursday I had one of the best concert/party I've ever been to. This was all thanks to a Canadian musician named Robert Alphons, whose project is called TR/ST.

It's a combination between synthpop, darkwave and some techno. As it is worth noting, that darkness is seen in his lyrics and melodies, but it makes it very danceable. One of the things that I like the most about his style is the very well elaborated use of synths, he uses many layers in them and they give a lot of harmony. Its production is too good which makes it very enjoyable.

Seeing him live was something he had to do at least once in my life. I knew it was going to be a total party and best of all, I was able to see him in my city, I always thought that I would have to see him in the USA or Europe. But the underground wave is very good in Bogotá, and it was along with Mexico the Latin countries that he visited.

That night from 9pm to 2:30pm I danced with his music, the djs and the other acts that performed, in fact the party would go on until 4am but it was too long there and things I had to be awake in the morning.

The setlist he played was great, from beginning to end I was singing his songs and at the end, he sang my favorite song, Sulk. It is the one I am sharing today, I feel that it gives me happiness and awakens a hedonistic sense in me, which gives me that pleasure through music and dance on that occasion.

At the moment the first notes sounded, I knew it was that song and of course it was not going to be missing from his repertoire. The version I based on is one I found, which the same artist sings and plays on the piano. It is much slower than the original due to its adaptation to this instrument. My favorite will always be the original, but this version is very good.
