Open studio powered by Hive [PL/ENG]

PL: Niecałe dwa tygodnie temu odbyła się pierwsza "Otwarta pracownia". Formuła pracy z różnymi materiałami podczas jednych warsztatów sprawdziła się, więc było oczywiste, że działanie to będzie kontynuowane. Początkowo jednak planowałem kolejne wydarzenie dopiero w sierpniu. Tak się jednak złożyło, że Czwartkowe Wieczory Dyskusyjne (@czwartek) wczorajsze spotkanie zorganizowały poza Królestwem. W tej sytuacji postanowiłem zrobić jeszcze jedną lipcową "Otwartą pracownię". Okazało się to bardzo dobrym ruchem...

ENG: Less than two weeks ago, the first “Open Workshop” was held. The formula of working with different materials during one workshop worked well, so it was obvious that this activity would continue. Initially, however, I had planned another event only in August. However, it so happened that Thursday Discussion Evenings (@czwartek) held yesterday's meeting outside the Kingdom. In this situation, I decided to do another July “Open Studio”. It turned out to be a very good move....

PL: Łącznie przez cały dzień Królestwo odwiedziły 24 osoby. Uczestnicy byli nie tylko z Polski, ale również z Ukrainy, Białorusi, Kazachstanu, Indii, Japonii i Aruby.

ENG: A total of 24 people visited the Kingdom throughout the day. Participants were not only from Poland, but also from Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, India, Japan and Aruba.

PL: Na szczęście ostatnio kupiliśmy nowe stoły (głównie dzięki wsparciu Value Plan), więc wszyscy się pomieścili. Ogólnie przygotowaliśmy dwa stanowiska: przy jednym można było ulepić coś z gliny, przy drugim pomalować farbami na kartongipsie lub szkle.

ENG: Fortunately, we recently bought new tables (mainly thanks to the support of Value Plan), so there was enough space for everyone. In general, we prepared two stands: at one we could make something out of clay, at the other we could paint with paints on plasterboard or glass.

PL: Wydarzenie zakończyło się koło 23.00 a rozmowy (między innymi o Hive) trwały jeszcze dłużej, bo do północy. Frekwencja podczas warsztatów potwierdziła skuteczność naszej nowej strategii promocyjnej, która opiera się na wynagradzaniu ludzi za ich reakcje na stronie Królestwa na Facebooku oraz publikowaniu wydarzeń na stronie Meetup. Nareszcie udaje nam się docierać z informacją do wielu ludzi!

ENG: The event ended around 11 pm and the conversations ( among other things about Hive) lasted even longer, until midnight. The turnout at the workshop confirmed the effectiveness of our new promotional strategy, which is based on rewarding people for their reactions on the Kingdom's Facebook page and publishing events on the Meetup website. We are finally managing to reach a lot of people with information!

PL: Prace, które powstały wczoraj oraz te z końca czerwca i początku lipca, a także te, które powstaną podczas kolejnych warsztatów ceramicznych wezmą udział w konkursie, w którym pula nagród wynosi 200 RCRT. Oczywiście warunkiem jest opublikowanie ich na Hive pod tagiem #pl-kbk. Głosowanie odbędzie się w sierpniu.

ENG: The works that were created yesterday and those from the end of June and the beginning of July, as well as those that will be created during the next ceramics workshop will take part in a contest in which the prize pool is 200 RCRT. Of course, the condition is to publish them on Hive under the tag #pl-kbk. Voting will take place in August.
