Hi, runners... how was your weekend? I wish you all good health and good running. In this post, I want to share my running journal from last Friday. For about five days I felt unwell because the weather and pool were so bad. The level of humidity and pollution mixed together, making a lot of people get the flu lately. I was the same way.

Around last Friday, I felt better and really missed exercise. I finally got up at the same time as my usual workout. Almost 4pm. I planned to run just 5k today as a kind of celebration for my body that has become healthy. Sure enough, my breathing became a bit heavy again when I didn't run for a long time. However, when I looked at my results, it turns out that I was pretty consistent at pace 7 from the start.

It's been a few times since I took the circuitous route because I avoided the uphill and downhill. It's not that I'm lazy, but a while ago my knees were also a little sore because of the wrong form. Since last Friday things improved, so I went back to running with uphill and downhill. Even then, it wasn't really high, only about 23 metres in total.

I completed my five kilometres in 36.08 minutes with a pace of 7.10/km. It's less than 10 days to the Amartha Run race that I will be participating in with my friend, Vivi. This is my third 10k race. I'm not planning to do the Half MArathon until I'm sure my training is good and my endurance is improving and stable. Taking it slow, I hope to be able to experience up to 42 kilometres or marathon in the future. Wish me luck!

After cooling down, I sat for a while to finish the rest of the mineral water I brought. Then I watched people fishing in canoes, and saw a black cat sleeping. The atmosphere here, really helped the process of rejuvenating after the run. Sorry if you're bored with my running track, I haven't found an alternative yet.

That's it for today's running story. See you next run, every body!
