Rexona Race 7.5 KM, BSD City

Hola Hiverun Runners...

As I mentioned in my last post, I will participate in the Rexona Race 2024 held in BSD City, Tangerang. This time the distance is shorter than the previous races. But I was wrong, I thought it was 5 KM, but it turned out to be 7.5 KM. I was a bit shocked because I didn't prepare myself for the 7.5 KM distance. Yes, I have to admit I underestimated this race a bit because I previously ran 10 KM.

The Rexona Race 2024 was very exciting. I joined this race with two of my friends as the closing race for this year. I didn't want to join a running event if it wasn't in the GBK area, but this time I joined because I wanted to have a different experience. The three of us stayed at a hotel near the venue so we wouldn't be late.

When the day came, I was a bit nervous because the route was quite far. But the bonus was that the route we would take was a very beautiful route. We also passed the hotel where we were staying.

In this race, I wanted to DNF because I started having difficulties in the third to fourth KM. Even though I had previously underestimated the distance, it turned out that the first KM was always not easy. Either because my warm-up was not long enough or because I didn't sleep well. Even so, I was finally able to finish my race in 1 hour and 6 minutes.

This is a medal from Rexona. This is the most unique medal from the other medals I got. When you open it you will see a check mark (Rexona's logo). This mark is a necklace that you can give to your best friend. Since my best friend has also gotten the same medal, it would be better if I just keep this check mark.
