The Green Nebula Drums - NFT

Where do dissipate all the vibrations emitted by our bodies?
Where does it take us the trance of continuous repetition?
Maybe that infinite spiral will lead to the Green Nebula.

Upon entering the NFT ecosystem, I wanted to give a more experimental twist to the work I had been doing with some visual ethnography records that I made between 2011 and 2016, mainly in central and western Venezuela.

I wanted to give the documentary record a different treatment, this time doing the opposite game, deterritorializing an instant to take

it from its context to a fictitious and cosmic one, to highlight its human sensitivity.

Not to melt cultural tradition into a dissonant foreign language, but to draw attention to that communion, but this time from another perspective, which transcends the local to seek to connect with the sensitivity that we all have as humans.

Our terrestrial and supraterrestrial experiences are constantly superimposed on this thing we call existence, and we continually try to make sense of it through the symbols that we create and that constantly weave bridges between our material and spiritual worlds.

The Green Nebula Drums is inspired by the drums of the Fiesta de San Pedro in Naiguatá and its impressive collective discharge, the final part of the festive cycle preceded by the Fiesta de San Juan where that same battery of drums are the protagonists.

The images are part of the work in progress using the Rotoscopy technique in After Effects and finishing the manipulation and texturing of key frames in Photoshop and Illustrator to create an animation in GIF format,

There are still a few editions available on the Objkt marketplace on the Tezos Blockchain.
