So I decided to follow my mum to the market to shop for a few things to prepare tomato sauce popularly known as stew.
We have a few things at home though so we decided to buy things we did have.
We had to pass through security check before entering the main market. I quickly showed our masks before we could be allowed to drive in.
Immediately we alighted, we headed straight to the trader selling cabbages, carrots, green pepper, cucumber etc. Basically things used for salad and fried rice.
Things are quite expensive these days because of the pandemic. We bought carrots, cucumber, cabbage and green pepper.
Next we went to buy the most essential for the stew. Meat. Awwn my favorite. We bought meat from two different stalls
After which we bought Tim tomatoes. This is used to thicken the stew.
Before heading home we bought garden eggs and guava. My mum loves garden eggs while I love guava.
We came to the market early though because my mum had an online meeting by 12pm. A lot of people hadn't opened their shops. The market would have been a little bit crowdeir.
Thank you very much for visiting my blog
Hope you had a wonderful shopping experience like I did.

I am so happy that they make everyone wear masks, or at least have them, especially when the markets get crowded. The food over here has gotten expensive too! I am shocked! I even went to the nursery to buy a couple flowers and the price had doubled from last year.
So, I left it there.
At least your market is full of wonderful produce and meats. How did the stew turn out? It is one of my favorite things to eat. I like it even better on the second day! The flavors have melded together and are so yummy! What are garden eggs? I am not familiar with the term, although I probably know what it is if I see it. :)
