Hi guys, I recently started working at a Job. Umm...an Online Job like some would say. My job description is one of its kind. Never seen a job like that but all the same its great. It let's me see the world through my phone, interact with cultures, opinions, gives me a good laugh (recall my laughter? dear readers y'all need to sign a petition to hear this) and etc. And I must add I'm serious at my Job. So sometimes when you call me up and I go like "I'm busy, let's meet up some other time" Trust me I'm really busy. Busy at my Job; which is watching TikTok Videos π¬ π¬π¬ (am I getting crucified for this?) Did I forget to tell you that I'm not paid while on this Job? That I'm the one paying the Job(data subscription)
Well, forget my drama....here's the storyπ.
Some days ago while on this "Job" I came across so many videos and something synonymous about em was this audio: "Stranger!....still don't know my name" that's the only line of the song I know and remember. Sang this all day around the house. Same lines, same tune, I just make it sound a bit more different by screaming "Stranger!" even louder. That's like make belief that I'm onto verse 2ππ
Its really amazing how it just takes a "Hi" to turn a STRANGER into a FRIENDπ©ββ€οΈβπβπ©. Its like Hi is an SI unit for identity conversion (I suddenly feel intelligent). Sometimes this friendship metamorphose into something very beautiful (like me) πbut at other times it leaves us with Scares, lost or takes a part of us away.
So the big question is how do we choose our Strangers, how do we choose our Friends?π I won't say I have an answer to the later, I'd say luck shone on me and gave me the best gangπβΊοΈπ©ββ€οΈβπβπ©. But I think i know a thing or two about choosing my Strangers. Here are the Formulas
If Stranger meets your definition of Cool= Hi + maybe your name
If Stranger is <(less than) your expectations of a Friend= Hi + still don't know my name
If Stranger is >(greater than) your expectations of Friend= Be Careful, maybe they are just playing nice.
If Stranger feels too entitled to be converted to a Friend= tell em "Stranger! Still don't know my name"
These formulas have never been tested and I don't guarantee that they'll work. I'm only sharing a Piece of my thought.
To every Stranger out there "Still don't know my name!" but I'm ready to be friends with you if you're cool. My name umm.... becomes an added bonus to the Package. πππ
